Kevin Keegan cancer diagnosis

Football legend Kevin Keegan has been diagnosed with cancer, his family has said.

The former England forward and manager, 74, was recently admitted to hospital due to "ongoing abdominal symptoms", a statement said.

 

"These investigations have revealed a diagnosis of cancer, for which Kevin will undergo treatment," it added.

Hope it is only in the early stages and they can deal with it successfully. Good luck Kevin, hang in there!

I always say George Best most natural footballer, Bobby Moore best defender, Gordon Banks best keeper And Keegan the most hard working forward have seen his hard work got him to great heights .

Sad news about Keegan.   Keegan's the reason I started supporting Saints in 1981.

I was due to see him for 'An evening with Kevin Keegan' at Mayflower studios tomorrow and it was postponed. I guess this is why. It's rescheduled for April though but I'm not sure how he'll be able to manage it.  Anyone else that was due to see him tomorrow night ?
