Apologies for the war and peace post chaps – bear with or scroll past.  For the last week I have been trying to provide a steer on here as to why I think this silly episode will be concluded with a fine (in the region of £200k) and / or a possible future points deduction (though if I were advising Saints I would appeal this).  Simply that talk of forfeit and bans opens a legal can of worms that is well beyond the remit and scope of both the EFL and / or Middlesbrough FC. There is a lot of truth in that, I heard it too. First of all I heard it from the voice in my head (one of many), secondly you said it, ergo, it’s as much of a fact as the overwhelming number of other conjecture that has been reported as fact. All we need now is another ten people to repeat it and it does, in fact, become fact! Case closed. Welcome aboard Hayden!

If I had any mates I’m sure I’d get similar messages of support. My dog, who is generally supportive, hasn’t got too engaged with this issue, which is somewhat disappointing.
