I'd been checking the tickets situation for 24 hours prior to that final window opening, and the only seats left, were at the back of the top level. That was it. 

But at 1.30pm, when I got out of the waiting room, and on to the site, there were quite a few other seats available, all around our end of the stadium.

And somehow, I managed to get 4 seats together in block 126...

 

No idea what happened, but the football gods were clearly smiling.

If anybody doesn't have a ticket but is eligible for one, there are occasional single tickets that keep popping back up on the site, just got to time it right. These are basically when somebody has added them to their basket but not gone on to complete the transaction, so after 20 minutes they get released back into the pool for everyone to see.

I would assume as soon as our appeal is thrown out.

SWT will also be cancelling all those ‘extra’ trains to Waterloo on Saturday, probably good news for a refund if specifically booked on one of those.
