Interesting. Based on the last Championship campaign our revenue was just shy of £85 million, with the likes of Portsmouth (boo) at £14 million and Middlesbrough (double boo) at £31 million. 

That suggests that even if we stay down, we would have a reasonable amount to play with.

Squad Cost Rules (SCR) are calculated as...

Clubs are allowed to spend 85% of their total revenue on football costs:

- Head Coach and Players salaries
- Agent fees
- Transfer fees (amortised) 

Excluded from the calculation is:

- Women's squad costs
- Academy squad costs
- Infrastructure costs

Club owners are allowed to inject £10m over and above the 85% as an annual equity injection, should they wish.

Presumably this benefits the big clubs more then? And there must be loopholes aplenty to exploit this?

Presumably there will somewhere be a new financial rule that says Middlesborough can sue any team that beats them.

Pretty sure Wrexham would be pro for this, with their revenue streams.

This benefits the clubs with bigger revenue. It'll be likes of Blackburn and Skates who'll have voted against.

On the face of it this seems pretty sensible, will mandate and expand funding into development and infrastructure.
