skintsaint Posted Friday at 11:50 Posted Friday at 11:50 (edited) If of course we lose the final.... Edited Friday at 20:47 by skintsaint
leesaint88 Posted Friday at 13:08 Posted Friday at 13:08 Interesting. Based on the last Championship campaign our revenue was just shy of £85 million, with the likes of Portsmouth (boo) at £14 million and Middlesbrough (double boo) at £31 million. That suggests that even if we stay down, we would have a reasonable amount to play with.
CSA96 Posted Friday at 13:22 Posted Friday at 13:22 (edited) Squad Cost Rules (SCR) are calculated as... Clubs are allowed to spend 85% of their total revenue on football costs: - Head Coach and Players salaries - Agent fees - Transfer fees (amortised) Excluded from the calculation is: - Women's squad costs - Academy squad costs - Infrastructure costs Club owners are allowed to inject £10m over and above the 85% as an annual equity injection, should they wish. Green Posted Friday at 17:27 Posted Friday at 17:27 Presumably this benefits the big clubs more then? And there must be loopholes aplenty to exploit this?
badgerx16 Posted Friday at 18:32 Posted Friday at 18:32 Presumably there will somewhere be a new financial rule that says Middlesborough can sue any team that beats them. 5
Pamplemousse Posted Friday at 19:23 Posted Friday at 19:23 I wonder which teams voted against? Wrexham? Birmingham? They're the two big spenders

St Chalet Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago On the face of it this seems pretty sensible, will mandate and expand funding into development and infrastructure.
