WAC - he simply can not let it go with Spygate.   Pontificating from his ivory tower about how this was one of the darkest days in Saints history and even today telling 5 live the episode will haunt Eckert for years and seeming to indicate that he wasn't punished enough.

I would think Eckert will have put this behind him the moment the FA told him his punishment.  Equally, despite what Blackkmore thinks, this was really a nothing burger but a kangaroo court by the EFL and Gibson made it a far bigger deal than it really was.

It was a dark day in our history.

It will haunt Tonda for years. In 50 years time it will very likely be on the first paragraph of his obituary.

I don't want our journalists to cover up that stuff. They're not fans and they don't need to be.

How about you stop whining on about Steve Gibson and kangaroo courts because jesus christ no one gives a fuck now.

None of that especially bothers me but on the topic of Adam Blackmore, the standard of commentary on Solent has really struggled since he lost the support of the excellent Dave Merrington. When I watch games with Blackmore's commentary, I realise just how much of what he's saying isn't actually what's happening on the pitch.

Also, Alfie House has really shown up Adam Blackmore as a journalist.

It's unlikely to haunt Tonda. Does everyone splutter over their words to mention spying whenever Bielsas name comes up? Nope.

Possibly related to the thirty year management career he had before he even got to Leeds but yeah great point genius.

So at the end of one person's career it will be the first paragraph of their obituary, but at the end of the other person's career it will be forgotten?

Even on a day like today you can't help but be a contrarian, argumentative, sanctimonious cunt can you.

Well, yeah, because everything he does from here will be a response to him causing us to be kicked out of the richest football match in the world. The thing that led us to being on the national bloody news.

If we get promoted in May do you reckon it might just get a mention? I'm going to wager it will. If he leads Germany to winning the world cup in 20 years it will be the still be the starting point of any profile of him.

Bielsa didn't get Leeds kicked out of anything, and until we started going on about it it was only Derby fans that ever cared. No one gives a fuck apart from people on this forum.

Do you see how different things can be different?

My darkest days were us being stuffed 9-0. I couldn’t give a toss that our manager sent someone to watch another club train to give us the upper hand. It shows how much he wants to win and we’ve been a better side since Eckert’s been in charge. I’ve already forgotten about it!

We’ve had some right shit in charge since Hassenhuttl, now it’s time to enjoy watching a side and a manager that are right up for it and winning games.
