Our next 5 games

If we win 3 then we will have won 6 out of 9 matches. That's pretty impressive so, to be realistic, 3 wins would be a decent return.

Given where the other teams are though, we need to avoid defeat against Blackpool and Watford. Therefore 3 wins and two draws would be a great return. 11 points out of 15. If you'd asked me a month ago I'd have laughed!

Holy Shiv... That's some run coming up.

Had we not got those 9 points I think we'd be dead and buried but now it actually looks like we 'may' have a chance to somehow escape this mess.

All of those games are winnable - we just need the current performances ( maybe excluding Brum ? ) to continue and we are at least giving ourselves a very real chance of getting maximum points.

Derby (H)

QPR (H)

Blackpool (A)

Charlton (H)

Watford (A)

Is it possible to win ALL FIVE of these games?

Whilst it's definitely a big ask, I don't think it's totally out of the question . . .

Thoughts?

Given our recent form, we could easily win all five, but realistically I don't think we will (nothing wrong with oping we can though).

We should be looking to win at least 2, maybe 3 and not lose at Watford and Blackpool.

Even a defeat in there wouldn't be a bad thing (against Derby or Charlton) as long as we then beat Watford or Blackpool.

8 would be great, 9 will be fine.

My gut feel is 7 points and it still not being sorted one way or the other.

11 points would be great indeed.

Derby (H) Draw

QPR (H) Win

Blackpool (A) Draw

Charlton (H) Win

Watford (A) Lose

I'd be delighted with 8 points from that lot. It would put us on 45 points with 5 to go, the last 5 games would also need to bring in 8 points if we are to survive. Its a big ask, just wish there was another team above us that was showing poor form.

A big "ASK", what the Eff is that supposed to mean. Just 'cos your average footballer is a moron and can't speak English that doesn't mean the rest of us have to imitate them does it?

It's like one of the forum members getting a date with Lucy Pinder - technically possible, a dream come true but never going to happen.

QPR, Blackpool, Charlton i would be VERY hopeful of winning.

Derby will the the toughest and watford are doing well.

At least Rasiak, who scored to give Watford three points on Saturday, won't be playing against us.

Yes, we are capable of winning all of these. Tiredness might be an issue though, so I reckon 10 points from these games. Survival depends on others tripping up, I fear.
