not wishing to name drop (!) but Rod was asking me yesterday morning after football, what the fck is going on at Saints. Apparently he was scheduled to be there in the Summer but this has now been postponed...?

I asked him to to make a bid and bring his buddy WGS back to manage. He wasn't too keen on this idea... if only.. :0

He must of known we were SAILING close to administration when he booked, there is every REASON TO BELIEVE it will be cancelled all together, this may seem like rambling but STAY WITH ME, he probably thinks SOME GUYS HAVE ALL THE LUCK that his mate Elton got to play here but he (MAGGIE) MAE not.

I'd have thought he had enough on his plate already dealing with that bloody Emu and being dead and all . Personaly I prefer the Chuckle Brothers anyway .

I think the administrator might have missed a trick if he was responsible for postponing the summer concert. Even if Saints ceased to exist then the stadium will still be here, and the revenues would help pay off some of creditors moneys that otherwise would be zilch. And if Saints are saved by any chance, it would be more than useful.

And also, there are probably lots of local firms who are owed money.

Rather than the concert being postponed, it was never actually booked despite Rod Stewart's people being keen (as were The Eagles for another gig) as SLH couldn't guarantee there would be an operating company behind the stadium by the time the concerts came around.
