Oh ye of little faith. Irrespective of Saturday's result we are going to start the climb back to the top. New owner and manager will sort us out I feel. Confident regarding our future.

You could be right...I am sure that Rupert has another super duper revolution ready for the new season...If it is true he is on his way back...Smith and Pulis may be world beaters after all:mad:

I do recall how people were crowing "we'll walk this league" on relegation from the PL. Well, 3 seasons of 'walking it' and here we are. Even more seasons of fantastic defeats from so called 'lesser teams' too. When are we going to courageously pick up that fork and take a large chunk of humble pie and realise that we are where we are on ability (yes we have a vast catalogue of reasons why we have this level of ability)?

A more humble, and respectful of our fellow division members, outlook should be taken.

Certainly it would pay us to have reservations about playing in L1 even though we may think there's nothing to fear!

**EDIT** This is not necessarily scoring points from you, more a general comment!

Yes will be in Round 1 of FA Cup (another low in this clubs history) and probably get beaten by the winners of Hillingdon Borough & Uxbridge Town 4th Round Qualifier replay, in front of a man walking his dog, three wind blown empty packets of crisps and a discarded Mars bar wrapper!!

I dont think the attendances at St Marys will slump that much. But then if Rupes returns, who knows.

More opportunities for Saints to lose to even lower league opposition in front of the TV cameras.

Surely just fewer opportunities to be on tv full stop ? Given our usual live tv record, suddenly the Master Plan becomes clear...
