Shout out to Josh Sims who today got the winner for Ross County to throw a spanner in the works of Rangers title bid in the SPL. I believe he’s been through a tough time career wise and he’ll always be remembered as a Saint especially for ‘that pass’ for Shane at Anfield.
It won’t be the Sunderland esq defeats that undo us this season , it’ll be the needless points thrown away where out of nowhere teams have taken us for a point. Huddersfield, Blackburn and Middlesbrough to name but three
I think Saints set the tone in this unfortunately which is quite believable given they knew 3K would come for the game at SMS. This game will probably be a damp squib anyway and RM will play some bizarre formation with Stephen’s as an inverted striker.
I live in Cheshire and arrived back from a cruise yesterday morning into Southampton. I made the agonising decision not to go in case we didn’t get back in time. Looks like I called it right!!
Ipswich drop points again. Not that it makes a difference but let’s see Saints if you can possibly turn up today when you have a genuine opportunity to reduce the deficit. FWIW having watched it and I know it’s a derby, but I just don’t think we have enough about ourselves to go up.
‘Small’ club, punching above their weight who have had a myriad of issues in the last few years. Good luck Ipswich if you go up I hope you do well and upset that apple cart that is the PL
There’s rich and poor in every aspect of life and it’s relative wherever you look. Football should be no different, if you happen to have a sugar daddy then good luck to you, spend what you want. All this meddling, on top of VAR, is just destroying the game.
Make no mistake depression can affect anyone and having money and/or prestige is no barometer as to whether you’ll suffer. No matter what his past ‘failings’ may be I hope he comes out the other side and can lead a fruitful and productive life.
