I agree with what Glen said on the podcast......for those who listen to it. Chuck him down the middle for the last 10-15 mins, and get him to do some Walcott-esque kick and chase. All that pace, which is still his biggest asset. Mind you, now i've said that it's clearly not how we'll ever play under Rusty.
That first Rothwell strike, and the view from directly behind, was a thing of beauty. Leeds and Ipswich will have gone from enjoying their afternoon beer, to chucking their pork scratchings everywhere.
Ng from Cardiff....crazy.
KWP is so important to how we play, we'd be nuts to sell him full stop regardless of the fee. As already pointed out, he'll get a decent move in the summer if we don't go up and for similar money that we'd get now.
I get that totally - i bought that seat when i was just past my mid 20s and being near the away fans was really appealing as i'd not sampled it before. I guess i quite like the gloating highs, and being gloated at lows that go with being near them.
Not sure i'd trust the catering employees even with a couple of slices of normal toast let alone the adding of both butter and marmite peanut butter so i'd happily move away!
Being honest, i'm not sure i'd move anyway as i like the view etc where i am - and i'd like to think that it could work. I'm just a bit concerned that the end could become a library unless there's a decent group and concerted effort to make it a special home end.
I'm in the 2 or 3 rows nearest them, so i hope that answers your question. I just enjoy being near the away fans - i also like peanut butter marmite spread too on BUTTERED toast. Some things i just can't explain - so apologies to you and the hoards of others who you feel need your questions answered.
A good proportion of the songs have always been about the skates. Admittedly a couple are utter sh*te which i wouldn't sing if you paid me....but in recent years the skates feature a lot. That's not going to change.
Agree regarding some being like Inbetweeners. But that's the newer generation of fans coming to the games. it's going to happen. I can't stand with how fickle the support is generally these days from some in the Northam. "Off with his head" one minute. "I f**king love this manager" a few weeks later. Maybe that's an element of the modern/younger fan.
