Maybe we will, maybe we won't. If we don't though then I hope nobody on here has a meltdown when certain players who have consistently lost games for us and both relegated us and failed to get us promoted leave.
-
He literally called the defending pathetic which is pretty much what everyone else thinks, no? He's also called out doing nothing with the ball. If you're worried about that then please don't read back your own comments on here.
-
Good. This thread is full of people needing nappies.
-
Their wingers btw. Everything ours have failed to be all season. Can't imagine any one of ours makes KWP look that terrible in training.
-
You won't see us score the amount of goals we have this season for quite a while I imagine so if you're bored shitless of this then dare I suggest you don't watch anymore.
-
It's not being edgy, it's being rationale. If you want to wet your pants over this season and this bloke then that's up to you, but I don't.
-
Squad harmony and style of play are miles better than last season. Those were two massive negatives for us last year. Promotion was number 1 aim, not winning the league and like I've said the levels of the Leicester squad and I'd argue Leeds shows winning the league was always going to be unrealistic if they sorted themselves out. We'll have 3 games at the end of the season to reach the target.

These players have been conceding goals for years as well mate. THB aside and even he wasn't picked up by Burnley after they went up. There's serious issues with Martin's teams conceding goals (I was on this bus at the start of the season too btw), but he's not solely to blame and the positives of his appointment outweigh the negatives for me.
-
I tried pointing out during Jones time here the players were responsible and maybe a bunch of players who consistently concede goals and lose games of football, whatever the manager or style, might be a bigger issue than the manager. I've been banging that drum for quite a while now. I don't think it's possible to be related to all of them. This one has got us winning on a regular basis though and is still well within a chance of fulfilling the brief at the start of the season.

Our best defender is being made to look like he runs in treacle against both their wide players tonight. There is different levels to these squads.
-
There is very few of our squad that gets into the Leicester team, it's on show tonight, it was on show last season too. Could quite easily argue Leeds squad too. The idea that we should be easily getting promoted with this squad is and always has been strange. We're rightly in contention and will go into the play offs with a good chance.
-
So desperate to blame him. And only him. Proper commitment to your personality on here.
-
This narrative being rightly put in it's place tonight.
-
Yeah money might talk but so do other teams, with equal or more money. Presumably ones that haven’t been through 4 managers in 2 seasons too.
-
We’re not sacking Martin and if we did after he delivered a near 90 point season then you’ll do well to convince credible managers to trust you.
-
If we don't get promoted then this is a good thing. We'd have a squad littered with a core group of experienced players who would have relegated us and failed to bounce back so I'm very open to losing a lot of them personally.
-
Presumably you don't want Downes dropped so if closing out a game isn't it, when do you want to be playing 2 DM's out of interest? Criticising someone for doing something you wanted to see for a while is a great effort by the way.
-
There’s no doubt that we have lacked a killer instinct in matches lately but on a weekend when everyone at the top dropped points maybe this is a good time to kind of respect the challenge of the league and do away with the ‘should have been 4-0’ mentality. The entitlement stinks and will only set you up for frustration.
-
As above. Also this was echoed by Martin yesterday in his press conference. And, most pertinently, it was quite obvious that was the reason at the time by anyone watching the game I would have thought.
-
For a specific reason that neither of them would have been able to provide.
-
They play different positions and are completely different players to him but sure.
-
There's very rarely any consideration for the other team in these "what changed" summaries is there?
-
I thought it was obvious this was to deal with the set pieces/physical threat they were having without messing up the set up?
-
Don't know what you're referring to here but if you're telling everyone you've rumbled a team I feel like you probably should pick up a better result than 0-0 to back up you're point. Also find it interesting Blackburn players are pointing out a narrative that FF has been stating since November at least... conveniently through FF himself.
