What does he knows he can do much better look like in your eyes out of interest? Galatasary have European and maybe CL football next year and a possible league win this year. Where would KWP end up in this country do we think and how does it compare?
-
Will people stop saying this, it happened just 12 days ago 😂
-
I reckon he went to the screen and saw the corner he’d given was incorrect because Aribo didn’t get the ball and gave a penalty because that was the clear and obvious correct decision rather than being psychologically convinced of anything.
-
Haha you and that pundit keep fighting the good fight mate. Don’t let us lowly little losers bring you down by using our eyes. You’re on a whole different level to everyone else and one day you can educate us all on the referees deliberate attempt to officiate the mighty Saints on an unlevel playing field. We’ll all bow down to your knowledge one day and we’ll all unsee Aribo quite clearly catching Isak and not getting the ball. Edit: and yes that shirt pulling means that whatever he does he just won’t ever be able to touch the ball just a few inches next to him. You’re all so right.
-
No. I said it was a penalty in the ground as it happened. The two qualified refs who have viewed it on video have said it’s a penalty. Joe Aribo didn’t looked particularly perplexed when it was given as a penalty and nor did he seem to be arguing he’d been pulled down at any stage. I’ve watched it again earlier and on MOTD and confirmed my original thought that Aribo, shirt being held or not, actively makes a decision to make a tackle and does not get the ball. So no, I will not look at it again.

He’s not pulled down ffs 😂

Textbook = makes a tackle, doesn't get the ball and brings down the player. Doesn't matter how long it takes, it's quite obviously a foul. I don't have the words for this level of thinking. You don't have to over think this one just because you're a Saints fan and it's gone against you. If you see someone make a bad tackle, it's a bad tackle. Shirts are pulled hundreds of times a game, not all of them end with a mistimed tackle. Nor words for this level of conspiracy either. Yes, we've had bad decisions against us, everyone has, it's annoying but none of those bad decisions mean that Joe Aribo making a mis timed challenge on Isak isn't a foul.

Dibling is one of our best players, so no his development has not been blocked, obviously. Meghoma is currently on loan at Preston and made 0 appearances for Brentford in the league so no clearly Brentford also don't see him ready for the PL and it's a year on from when we decided he wasn't ready for the Championship either, which is perfectly reasonable because A) he was 17 and B) we had the previous seasons best left back in our squad, amongst others. And as for SAA, the kids 18, it's perfectly reasonable for 18 year olds to not be in PL squads so I'm not sure it's fair to say his pathway has been blocked. Yes he's looked good in cameo's, but he also looked physically out of his depth when he started last season, which again is perfectly reasonable. And I want to remind you we have a whole squad who were pretty competent in the Championship that haven't made the step up technically, physically or mentally, let alone trusting and assuming an 18 year to do it. I do find it quite funny that you and others on here get quite excited about "cameos" though because I've said before, this team is full of players who get better the less they actually have to play at this level. Actually stepping up and delivering at this level is a whole different magnitude and an 18 year old kid not being trusted to do that just yet isn't some massive failure of the academy.
-
Yes every time someone has their shirt pulled they immediately dive in with a mistimed tackle don't they. Come on now, lets not turn ourselves into Arsenal. Aribo has jumped in, caught the player and not the ball, it's a textbook penalty.
-
This is the ramblings of a mad man You cant talk about how a pathway is blocked and use a player from Reading we haven't signed, a winger who has barely played all season and another winger who isn't even in the country as examples of that. It still doesn't make sense even when you through the buzzwords Rasmus and Goztepe in. Try actually naming some young players who have proven they can handle the PL and are ready to step up that have been blocked from getting into the team instead of just shouting about things you don't like about the club and claim "PATHWAY"
-
Obvious penalty btw, cant honestly believe any of you really think otherwise

Happened last week I think. Not for the first time either.

No Political Protests At St Marys Stadium.. thank you
Fabrice29 replied to SaintsLoyal's topic in The Saints
There was a farmer led protest at the ground roughly 12.30/1ish -
Just a reminder that the Martin losing mentality is the only manager to have delivered us regular wins for quite a while now.
-
I have no issue with Juric (other than expecting Bednarek to do a competent man marking job on Isak today) and think he's doing fine but I got a lot of stick for pointing out a few things earlier this season that seem to be manifesting itself a bit.
-
His interview yesterday with Sheffield Wednesday seemed to suggest he was pretty shocked to be recalled, not overly pleased to be coming back and glad he's managed to stay up there.
-
Juric confirming he wants to be here next season in the press conference even if we’re relegated. Intrigued to know if people think results will dictate that. 2 wins before the end of the season enough do we think? What about another 2 big defeats?
-
Or the manager we supposedly want to get in the summer.
-
That’s not necessarily true. His agent is paid to work on behalf of Tyler and might have been instructed to get the best deal possible for him here, not to sign a new deal as quickly as possible. Any agent worth his salt is using the transfer window to negotiate.
-
Totally agree. Best thing for him is to be playing regularly in the prem when he’s 20 and his best way to do that is to get us back up next season. No offence to him either because he’d clearly improve in a better team but he’s not producing the goals and assists that would get him into a top teams first team right now. Stay here, deliver some numbers and the worlds his oyster when he’s 21. No issue with the agent using the window to test the nerve of the club in the transfer window and maybe get some extra money for the kid either.

Fuck me, I think you’ve solved football. Just ask all the players on one day and everyone can just crack on with their lives after.
-
75% of any profit I suspect is more likely to be what they mean.

I think you’ve taken that to heart a bit hun. Anyway here’s your info for this one, from 6pm so you can pop it back up now.
