  1. ffs Saints. So many chances.
  2. Sounds like we're wasting some golden opportunities.
  3. He didn't even go for the ball 😡
  4. Yet again Redmond won't pull the trigger.
  5. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/14637054/chris-kamara-underactive-thyroid-stephs-packed-lunch/ I think this could explain it.
  6. Maybe I should start a thread asking where the next win will come from 😁
  7. Djenepo against Newcastle and now Redmond against West Ham. Both afraid to pull the trigger. Both need that extra touch. The sooner we can drop those two, the sooner we'll finally win a game.
  8. I think he could become our "Adam Armstrong". I rate him. For such a low fee, there must be a good sell-on clause.
  9. That move for another CDM can't have materialised then. Shame.
  10. We can't afford to have players that won't pull the trigger. Djenepo needs to be dropped.
  11. He was okay today. Took a little too much time to release the ball, and he's very slow for this league but he's a better Stuart Armstrong back-up than Walcott. He does seem to be quite a vocal player which this team needs.
  12. I touched on it in my opening paragraph but perhaps I was too vague.
  13. That's not the league 😉
  14. We lacked a clinical edge today and the two goals weren't convincing. We're no longer a team that can out-fire the opposition. If we need to score at least 2 goals every game, we'll be in big trouble. I'll predict 23rd October, Burnley at home.
  15. Everton away - 0-1 HT - 3-1 FT Manchester United home - 1-0 HT - 1-1 FT Newcastle United away - 0-0 HT - 2-2 FT We've only kept two league clean sheets this year; Liverpool in January and Sheffield United in March. It seems we've made no real attempt to recify this. Vestergaard has now gone and although not a great defender, he was still our most competent. Instead of buying a first team replacement, we've brought in Lyanco which Hasenhuttl has already stated will be slowly eased into the first team. This is no slight on Lyanco but can we afford to make do with our current options? It's too late to do anything about it now but given it's been such an obvious problem for many months now, it's very concerning to come into this season arguably weaker in this position. It seems there's also a mental frailty when it comes to second halves as well. I generally like Hasenhuttl and want him to do well but he's never found a solution to this problem. Likewise, we've got possibly the worst goalkeeper in this league but I can undertand the restrictions given Mccarthy's and Forster's monumental wages. So, when do you think we'll finally keep the ball out of the net?
  16. I'm really worried about our defending.
  17. Should have won. Lucky to draw 😅
  18. Same old story at SJP. We're proper shit.
  19. We're no threat at all from crosses.
  20. And there it is. 🤬
  21. Expecting the worst now tbh.
  22. We'll regret not taking advantage of that early dominance. If we continue to miss big chances like that we're in for a long season.
  23. Elyounoussi too slow to release the ball. He keeps ignoring the overlap too.
  24. Miss of the season? (even if he was off)
  25. Decent stream in (I think) Dutch https://bestnhl.com/soccer/stream/9576383?sport=soccer
