If I was picking for a team I actually liked I'd go for F, though C with a slight 2-tone effect would probably look alright.

It is, however, worth £4.5 million, which would pay for the Academy for a couple of seasons. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2314578/Why-mid-table-sides-play-Premier-League-prize-money-2013.html

Yeah, they're going to shift shedloads of cheap-looking £36 shirts in League One. Will make all the difference, that £6.

I'd just be pointing out that he's still wearing Jan 2012 boots all the time and thinking it was hilarious, not caring that no-one else gives a toss.
-
He's hardly setting the world alight at Man U, and they'll need to replace Ferdinand pretty soon, I can see him being surplus to requirements if they buy a couple of better players.
-
Yes, but 3 wins will only give us a 1% chance of that happening. On the bright side, 3 defeats only gives a 2.4% chance of relegation as well.
-
So they've said "we're making Saints' kit" but nothing about the colour or style ? Dell-sized mentality on the club-only thing, and I find it amazing that Cortese has kept this, of all Lowe's policies. I thought we were meant to be expanding into some kind of global merchandise megalith ?

I think 3-4 more points (L, D/L, W), so I'll go for 13th which is in the middle of that range.

I've never seen a footballer LESS suited to international football in 2013 than the Bambi-on-ice Carroll we saw with the ball at his feet at Euro 2012. He looked like he didn't know how to dribble a ball when given the space to carry it into, and appeared absolutely petrified.

There's a chance you'll get hit by a piece of aircraft whilst walking down the road. It's unlikely, but do you feel safe that it won't happen ?

Actually, there was that massive V-neck adidas Carlsberg shirt around 1996 based on the same pinstripe effort, but that also didn't have pinstripes. Sondico are owned by Mike Ashley's Sports Direct, and they're also supplying Torquay and MK Dons. Nice.

Robin van Persie for me.

There needs to be a compromise between form and style, just like there's no point picking 6 goalscoring strikers in the same team.

I wasn't informed of his response, I think it was Ed Chamberlain interviewing him, possibly at the PFA do, but those are some vague recollections and assumptions glued together by supposition. I would expect whoever it was that told me this would be able to clarify on here, assuming they see this as it was a conversation I had immediately following the Fleming Park game on Saturday. Anyone ?

So from different sources we've now heard "Cortese hates red and white" and "Cortese wants red, with some white, because it's Swiss colours". Anyone can say anything online with absolutely no evidence whatsoever. I can't see it not being some kind of red and white, and even the "adidas" rumour seems to be based on one "joint megastore" rumour that no-one else has had any input into. By this time LAST year a few of us had already seen a pic of the kit and were drip-feeding hints into threads (well, I was). Haven't seen a thing this year, but I'd be very surprised if the deal wasn't already done and the kits weren't already made. As for "pick a decision he's made that's been wrong. Not easy", I can't believe people like that actually exist.

He did get cross-questioned that "maybe he was going to the wrong games" after that...

Done. Questions were rather "open", good luck collating that lot into a graphical representation !

This is where I let myself down by casually mentioning that Lambert wasn't even in the box when Schneiderlin tapped in from the edge of the 6 yard area... and that Schneiderlin gave him a 10 yard head start in our area when the break started. I agree with what you're saying, and I also think we'd be having far fewer "Is Gaston up to it?" discussions if he had a pacy striker with good movement to pass to. Actually I think Lambert's movement off the ball is excellent in terms of pulling players out of position when he pulls wide, just don't actually pass it to him in the middle with someone to run past because that's not what he can do.
-
I was implying that you usually talk sense.
-
We might, it's just a rather unlikely outcome.
-
I love the fact that Liverpool are trying to pass those shirts off as being remotely alike, when our current home kit looks more like the classic Umbro shirt than anything they've worn in the past 25 years.
-
It wasn't Redknapp, there was a screenshot all over the internet of the bet last week.

You'd have thought Hooper signing for Saints would have died a death when Adkins left really, but I suppose he's not going to sign for Reading now they're down, so they have decided to ignore that minor issue.

Ha, even if I was offering, I'd only be giving 10 ticks better than the longest odds on Betfair...
