  1. Cork played for Burnley with Rodriguez and Fox, and at Sc unthorpe with Forte (and Neil Moss and Simon Gillett at Bournemouth - and was in the same squad as David McGoldrick, but not on the pitch at the same time). He also played alongside Rasiak at Watford (against Clyne, Butterfield and Fonte on 24 Jan 2009 - long with Daryl Flahavan, making 6 future Saints in the 2 match day squads on that day). Aaaaaanyway.
  2. They'd be the 23 then, as we have to name 3 keepers or "lose" a player. So with 2 U21 keepers, we'll lose those two other GK slots. Forte could be named, I guess. We're comfortably within the homegrown limits of course, no more than 17 non-homegrown ! Expecting Cropper to get number 31. Has Yoshida been confirmed as 3 now, because 15 is still free (as are 11 and 14, of course)?
  3. Got a few to re-list...
  4. I've got 3 of them, won't be selling any though.
  5. You want to see a picture of his bad ?
  6. LOLz.
  7. Rodriguez, Guly and Clyne all have pace and play out wide though. Agreed there's a risk at CB, especially if we get an injury, and I'm not convinced by Davis in goal, but I was quite impressed with Gazzaniga against Stevenage, and he could be challenging very soon. Whether he's up to it... well, I'll have to take Adkins' judgement on that one.
  8. If they'd actually gone to the trouble of covering it up just to get that slight advantage, he would say that wouldn't he ?
  9. I'd be very surprised if we delayed it as a stunt just to get the chance to play someone completely unexpectedly. But that "one signature needed" was a strange situation, and I suppose stranger things have happened.
  10. Haven't seen anyone post the BBC's match preview on here, but some of it is pretty good writing, giving the context for our last league match against Man U : http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19384117 Well worth a read, short but good.
  11. No probs. Hope the website sorts itself out for you (and the rest of us!).
  12. I don't see Delgado, Chala, Arias or Tejera up there ?
  13. You're mostly right, but the reason he should give a sh it is because he's paid to give an informed opinion. Of course he doesn't and he's not bothered, but that's just one of the reasons he shouldn't be given the platform to spout his ill-informed drivel. The fact he seems to regard every match as a tedious chore is another.
  14. Bit controversial, he's got GASTON on the shirt on the OS not RAMIREZ, hope no-one got their shirts printed today... or it's just a one off to confuse people. Thread's over 200 pages for me now, btw.
  15. Exactly. I'm surprised it's that long, but clearly weighted heavily in your favour nevertheless.
  16. Fair point, the ITV commentator ? Whoever it was repeated the bolllocks in his preamble for both matches.
  17. The odds are in your favour, at least.

Are you sure ? I can think of another one you like a lot...

He's a rambling idiot. I'm sure they only use him to made the rest of them look competent. He's not wrong about the empty seats, though it would be helpful if the stadium and tv cameras weren't configured to point at Blocks 43 and 44 (usually segregation and the last section to go on sale), as well as the club for some reason not selling the front rows of Blocks 1-4 until last, along with the seats behind the Chapel goal. They do the same with the Itchen/Chapel corner but they're not showing as swathes of empty seats on the bloody telly every time a team attacks the Northam end ! PS I will concede defeat on the Lambert/Sharp appearance prediction. Mayuka and Rodriguez instead now.
  20. This is reaching just a tad.
  21. We'd have lost by about 6 in the Prem playing like that, Kelvin or not. I suspect he hasn't faced many efforts in the past 4 years as quick as Di Santo's strike or as clinical as Kone's either. Then again, he saved the Worst Penalty David Silva Will Ever Take...
  22. My "Sharp to play more than Lambert" prediction is in ruins. Ok, Mayuka and Rodriguez both to start more Prem matches than Lambert this season, then. My missus is completely gutted he's gone, says he reminds her of me and just bought herself a LJS band to go with her t-shirt. Still, he has to do what's right for his career in the long term, and 6 months of nothing with us isn't as good as a season of challenging at Forest and potentially coming back to Saints on relegation or getting a deal at Forest if they do or don't go up in a year's time.
  23. Frankly I can't be bothered to retrawl the Premier League/Football League loan rules to find out if this is a possibility - I do vaguely recall that season long loans can be ended during the Jan window though somewhere in the back of my head, so maybe... I need MLG to confirm, it's more of a CM kind of level of tedium...
  24. Can't argue with that.
  25. 2-1 by Man U is a walloping ? We lost 2-0 at home to Wigan ! I think we'll lose by a couple, FWIW, and Lambert could be on the bench again. One thing's for sure, he's not going to play fewer Prem matches than Sharp this season now - didn't see Mayuka and Rodriguez coming when I said that !
