I hadn't noticed, but I had been wondering if we'd do this.
-
I also collect football shirts. FWIW I wasn't a Saints fan til I was 18, after my home town club went bankrupt.
-
Sounds unlikely to me too, where was it said other players heard about it ? There's always a bit of Chinese whispers with these kind of things anyway, Lallana would know if he had or hadn't heard directly, whilst others may have only heard something from someone who heard something from someone which may or may not have been true...
-
I'm assuming now that this loan was just to keep him out of the squad photo, but as he was pictured at the open day they must have got the dates wrong. On a related note, I am saddened by the use of last season's squad numbers on Bart and Forecast's 3/4 length GK shorts, a terrible oversight from the kitman (though not as bad as the one at Barnsley when Connolly had Dickson's shorts on).
-
I should think any kid who likes football or footbal shirts has a variety of different club shirts. I had an Everton one myself when they were good, and a Chelsea away kit when they weren't. I don't support either.
-
How did Brian Howard know about Brian Howard or about Adam Lallana ? Either way the answer is that sometimes the approached club dismisses it out of hand and sometimes they tell the player.
-
I am reliably informed that they don't have sub eds.
-
It's always possible that the player didn't get to hear about it.
-
Exeter City are aware... http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/9230000.Former_club_s_best_wishes_for_assaulted_defender/ If that's not the Echo phoning for a quote I don't know what is.
-
I note Steve De Ridder's facebook page also has a link to the story now, so the players are aware.
-
FWIW I reckon I could identify a current Arsenal tracksuit from about 100 yards away, for a start they have ARSENAL splashed right across the back. There are a lot of plastic Gooners in Southampton though for some reason.

It did before a rewrite which added the bit about police appealing for witnesses and the scene this morning.
-
Give us a chance, we've only played for 15 points !
-
You're happy for someone reading that to assume you have only posted it to feed "an agenda" against "the mods" then ?
-
I could see him being quite drunk, but that's neither here nor there.
-
I'm pretty sure there's been a rewrite since the earlier version which was when it was just "a man", as opposed to someone we're familiar with, which mentioned the bouncers.
-
I think the phrase "potentially life threatening" implies they are not overstating the seriousness of the incident. You can add "serious head injuries" to that.
-
You do realise we have 8 days to our next match, right ?
-
Just different forms of "football management"...

As I mentioned earlier, there are probably a few posters on here who will see uncomfortable parallels with the death of a former poster on one of this site's forerunners.
-
Bloody hell, parallels with one of our old posters here too... Let's hope he recovers and those responsible are brought to justice.

Quite, Everton were one of the Big Five in the 80s, but that was when they were winning things. By 1994 they were struggling to stay in the Premier League, they don't have a worldwide fanbase like other "Big Five" members Liverpool, Man U, Arsenal and to a lesser extent Spurs, and they've won sod all in the last 30 years. They are probably a smaller club than Chelsea, Man City, Villa and Newcastle now, on a par with someone like Sunderland who get much bigger crowds though they're slightly less successful. Probably still bigger than Fulham and definitely Bolton and Wigan though. I have no idea what my criteria for this is... Bill Kenwright was always banging on about how skint they were a couple of years ago and they haven't attracted any investment since. In fact their Academy, with the likes of Rodwell and now Barkley is probably keeping them afloat. It would be a surprise to see Everton relegated, but they've had a few goes, and bigger clubs have gone down.
-
Some welsh wonderkid from the academy probably.

Are you saying we need more women on here ? The last one I took any notice of cost me about £50k once we'd sold the house at a loss, so let's not, eh ?
