  1. Yep, that's even though the white kit was launched first (another discussion we've already had on the Kit Thread).
  2. I went down at just after 11am, there were 20 people ahead of us, we bought 8 between us, no-one renewed a kiddie ticket (so they're 3 ST holders down on our group from last year), and it took 28 minutes to conduct the full transaction, including 2 address changes and a disabled confirmation. Which means that if any of those people had parked in the car park, the club would have made a pound from all of them. Because all of the transactions whilst we were there were well over the 15 minutes, including queueing time. Except that in the whole 28 minute period I did not see ONE person, from the 35+ who were in front of and behind us, use the car park. Also, EVERYONE in the queue I heard say anything was moaning about something, whether it was the ST prices, the over 60-65 thing, the car park price, them not having the tickets ready to hand out, or for one woman, coming down once already to buy a West Brom or Memorial Cup ticket and the TO saying they weren't able to give it to her in person and would send them out. FWIW we parked slap bang outside on the double yellows using a blue badge, and by the time we'd left 6 other people also had, despite not having the badge.
  3. No. HTH. Though for those who are my Facebook Friends (both of you) I have an entire album full of it. Literally.
  4. I'd just assumed Beckham had run out of space for his kids' names on his arms so he just used a tattoo that was already there. She's lucky she wasn't called "Funny Looking Jesus", "Something In Sanskrit" or "That's Supposed To Be Victoria".
  5. Eating was better than it should have been. Drinking MUCH better. Funnily enough that was the same video as swallowing.
  6. S h a g ging was amusing. Swearing was unexpected. F u c king involved a monkey. Stripping starts off looking like it's going to be rubbish. It's the same as undressing apparently.
  7. I like this.
  8. Yeah and I still don't think it's true.
  9. Hooray, I was the first one to post the aap3 logo with a white surround (albeit back on page 4 and then abandoned it for pretty much everything I've thrown together since then - plus the actual design has solid white in the loops of the letters - which if nothing else guarantees to me that the shirt is NOT predominantly white...). We've moved on from there regarding the collar though... and the pinstripes I "wouldn't do" are on the Hearts away and Ireland home kits.
  10. Nice use of the massive overreaction there.
  11. I've posited on the Kit Thread that we'll be in the away kit from last season because its easier to put a sponsor on that than the home kit, and I seriously doubt the club would be stupid enough to debut the new kit in Switzerland when they're making a big deal out of the launch. I suspect there is an outside possibility of us playing in the training kit. seeing as they clearly have put the squad numbers and sponsorship all over it. There is always the possibility that some of the fans out there will get some info from the players about the new kit even if they don't wear it though.
  12. Because it is a massive faff to take them off and put them back on again, probably.
  13. Nice to see the "panel" is a surrounding area and not a block. Delighted with that actually, if they use that on the shirt I'd be very pleased.
  14. Numerous other threads would have been more untidy, and preserved Freedom of Speech equally as well, so that's a total red herring. Also, just for the record, no-one has a right to free speech on here, you've signed up to a privately-run subscription forum and agreed that if you didn't abide by the rules you get banned with no financial recompense.
  15. As has been mentioned above, once you get a bit behind it's completely impractical to try and catch up, meaning there's a heightened likelihood of people posting duplicate information. As I've been desperately clinging to the Kit thread all summer, I can confirm that it's massivelay annoying to have people posting the same crap that was already discussed 3 weeks ago as new information. And your analogy is a load of gash, as each minute of a match sits in the context of the time frame surrounding it, whilst individual player rumours can sit entirely independently of all other player rumours with no need to know all about every other rumour that's going on.
  16. I'd kinda guessed that much, which is why I mentioned "the only remaining evidence", as all the player threads have disappeared.
  17. Quite possibly, but sliding doors and all that... young players coming into the first team need to be protected, as their confidence could take a hammering and it's fairly obvious after his random crossing show at St Mary's that Jake never got his back.
  18. Let's put it this way, if we were interested in taking a punt on a "lower league player", you could do worse than by signing one who's a known fan of the club, knowing that the chances are he's going to give everything he's got to make the club successful.
  19. He is definitely a Saints fan, rather surprised at Wales' international ranking...
  20. I am also confused to why people would want all of the rumours about loads of different players in one place. As for the "checking rumours before posting", well unfortunately some people think it's funny to just make them up to waste other people's time, and some like the attention of posting utter rubbish because they just want to be first to mention that player - it's left up to the reader's judgement to decide whether there's any truth in it - and it's one of the only occasions where I'm actually happy for the reader to be the one left to do the thinking - as opposed to the odious nature of txt spk and stuff like that.
  21. Annoyingly, Jake Thomson. Always excellent at Staplewood when I saw him, as a "new player" for the first team I genuinely thought he was going to be the next Theo Walcott for a few weeks, but he got chucked in as sub at full back a few times, hardly taking advantage of his pace and skill in beating people. That, along with much of the rest of the side being people unlikely to be able to give him any pointers, soon shredded his confidence on the "big stage" - his crosses were awful for the first team but continued to be effective for the reserves. He never got a decent chance at Saints, and since has slid out of favour at Torquay as well.
  22. I'm going to stick my neck out and say that you're going to be wrong.
  23. I would imagine "Nige" might point out that he prefers to be called "Rickie". In other pedant news, togetherness is definitely a word, and they didn't have A*s when I did GCSEs, so I don't understand the analogy...
  24. At the current rate of banning members we'd have to hope they drop the price to about £20.
  25. Which part of "Some my be started by employees of football clubs [ Am I to understand that Hypo has now been banned as well ? For doing something a lot of us were crying out for, in dumping the air-sapping mega-threads which most people cannot be bothered with once they get going, and which pile hundreds of potential discussion points into one place to be ignored ? EDIT : Just had a look - yeah he's been banned, but the only remaining evidence is him starting an utterly pointless "new catch-all rumours thread"... so not in line with my complaint above. Can't say it's made a massive difference to me, I post my random guff anyway, but Deppo was probably the turning point anyway. I shed no tears for Hypo's last posting either, what with him mis-spelling "Stasi". We do appear to be running out of the entertaining and/or any way interesting posters. My money's on delldays, alpine and Benji getting bounced soon. Pretty soon it'll just be me and the kit thread.
