I shouldn't even bother responding but he used a 4-2-3-1/4-4-2 at Lille and a 3-5-2 as well as the "one formation" (which in itself has been described as a 4-1-3-2 and a 4-3-1-2, a 4-4-2 and a 4-3-3 by various different sources in the past few months). I think Puel knows his strongest team - he also knows he needs to oversee wins against both Sparta AND Swansea at home if he can, which doesn't necessarily mean playing the same XI for both. I'll be VERY interested to see what Ranieri does with Leicester on Wednesday as well, for similar reasons. Their entire success last season was based on having the same XI all the time, no way they can do that this season and come remotely close to where they were last year (and in fact they're already way off the pace just losing Kante).

I know, it's mental. Spend a year qualifying for something and then decide you'd rather spend another year trying to qualify for it than actually try and get anywhere in it...
