"I told you so's" have a time limit you know! Remember when I said 15 years ago that Michael Jackson would die? Showed you all didn't it?
-
Here Here or is it Hear Hear or Here Hear or Hear here you get the idea anyway
-
Come on guys, this didn't even get a mention? If we let this go, we might as well let all the funny jokes... Made me laugh out loud this. I doff my cap to you Sir
-
Shall we just start new threads suggesting he might go to random clubs? EDIT: Ah, you have a link... damn... foiled again EDIT 2: It is the Daily Mail though. Maybe he's going there because some kid lost his fingers in a goalkeeping accident and wants to live vicariously through KD... Film of Week.. Wednesday at 11.00

In all my years living here since my birth, I've never heard any Irish person saying that

Sha la la la.... Sit Ubu Sit.... Good Dog

hmmmm, not sure what to think... except for the fact that I would have thought that all transfers should be put on hold until the takeover is complete and a new manager is in... if at all possible.
-
I don't agree that he should be favoured over Ince either. But I still don't think Ince has proved himself enough to warrant his name being bandied about as much as it is.
-
Therefore me getting over it. I disagree that most teams are built by other managers. But even if it were the case, Ince still came into a successful team while they were successful and didn't have to do very much. The big name thing comes into play again. He wouldn't have gotten the unwarranted plaudits he did nor the blackburn job if he wasn't Paul Ince
-
failed miserably in the premiership, but i'll get over that. But the trophies he won at this level were with teams built by another manager. He flatters to decieve.
-
I'd rather claw my eyes out than have Ince as manager, I can't understand the love in with him And I'd rather have Ince as manager than Shearer. I do have to wonder about Strachen's continuing unemployment. I know its a pipedream, but he should have been snapped up by a dozen other clubs by now. Something, probably my heart, is telling me he's holding out for something... KK would be unbelievable, for many reasons. Realistically, I would say Boothroyd would be my choice. In loadsamoney fantasy land that we just may be in? Strachen 1st choice, KK second choice

As a relevant aside... I just saw this link on the photography board I'm a member of. Asking staff to take a paycut (which is effectively what working 1 week/month for free is) is a sign of the times... though I do have to wonder that if we were in a slightly less perilous situation, and the club could term it as a paycut rather than "working x time for free" would we have the same reaction on the forum... would we even know. This however is going too far. http://www.rollonfriday.com/ThisWeek/News/tabid/58/Id/144/fromTab/36/Default.aspx

I have no idea. But I don't think the timing of the payment is relevant to be honest, as I think in the business they are in they have to ensured they are paid for all their work or else they would go out of business themselves. They only deal with companies who are so strapped for cash they are on the verge of going out of business FFS, its not as if they'll ever have a cash rich customer
-
But out of interest, would you care to outline the details of your complaint to us here on the site? And tell us exactly how, in your opinion, the administrators haven't handled the situation in a proper manner?
-
Should a doctor get paid for trying his hardest to save a patient who eventually dies?
-
I do like to make an effort
-
Administrators only loyalty is to creditors. Big creditors will get paid first, and they themselves will probably be one of those big creditors after all the work they've done. Staff are not big creditors and in that case will probably get nothing if the company goes out of business. Its not nice, but its the real world and the same would happen in any company, not just a football club
-
Christ, half the fans on here are in uproar because the deal to buy the club isn't going exactly as they think it should go, more are in uproar because people they don't know and don't affect are being asked to work for free for 1 week. Can you imagine the reaction if people bought season tickets, no match was played and they coulldn't get their money back? It doesn't matter what is written on the tickets.
-
They're company isn't close to going out of business. They don't have jobs to save. Work for a week unpaid in an attempt to keep my job? Or be pig headed and lose my job for the sake of one week's wages. Its not a nice decision, but its not a completely unreasonable option for the company to give the staff. Would you rather they said "Lads, we'll definitely pay you this week, but then you'll lose your jobs, and you've no way of out of it, I don't care if you're willing to work for nothing this week"
-
Maybe because Begbies Traynor have significantly more information than you or anyone else on this forum about Pinnacle and the whole situation
-
Or maybe it might be a good idea if he knew something about administration before shooting his mouth off

What on earth could be affecting our status in the League? Are the FA trying to bump us down to non league or something? I don't get this -
tomato tomato that doesn't really work in text does it?

Based on not knowing our manager, players or the condition of the other teams 7 weeks before the first game kicks off.... a very worthwhile endeavour.. time well spent!

Bloody typical. John Barnes will be fired 3 times over by the time we get to play Tranmere
