Did you see the game? If you did, what parts of his game did you think were poor today? And what parts of his game did you think warranted calling him a ****? And what parts of his game did you think implied that he should not longer be our captain, less than 2 weeks after he was appointed?
-
I think that was exactly the point. Give Perry game time against opposition he can handle so he doesn't get fed up. Thomas is undoubtedly the one pushing the 2 first choice CBs and for any league game would be the automatic replacement
-
Explain why you think this please?
-
Very unfortunate OG and shouldn't have been a penalty IMO. Ball to hand with hands down.
-
Nothing like a penalty. His hands were down and the ball dropped in front of him and hit them
-
Maybe you should start going again and bring a metronome with you to keep the timing exact. I'm sure the team will keep a lot more clean sheets if the fans were in 4-4 timing.... or should they be in 4-5-1?
-
Absolutely no need to blame him. It's people not watching who are putting 2 and 2 together and getting 22. He did nothing wrong for the goal. It was a very unfortunate OG

Twitter says attendence is 4858 with 2013 Saints Fans. Bloody impressive that is
-
Streaming is great for me. I've only had 1 interuption in the first half, for about a second after the second goal was scored

Actually, just found it http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=57343&part=sports

Paddypower have listed Northampton vs Southampton on their Live On TV coupon, though they don't say what channel, anyone have any idea?
-
Not to mention strength and balance as he showed for his goal and assist against Bristol Rovers
-
I was just thinking that before commentator mentioned it. Trots banned for FA Cup game... but does the fact that his team wouldn't have let him play for us anyway affect that? Will he be banned for the following match instead? I assume not
-
Amazing how many people are writing off Trotman after 2 games when previous to that everyone was clamouring to sign him permenantly. Fickle? No! Not us! The shakyness in defence has also come since changing from starting with 4-5-1 to starting with 4-4-2. I was surprised to see that the formation hadn't changed yesterday after what happened again BHA, but the team still did better, and from the sound of it the defence was a huge improvement.

Gallas definitely looked embarressed for taking the chance. I don't think he even celebrated the goal
-
I was wondering who'd be first. Takes a big man to take the **** out of another man's alcoholism. Well done you
-
At least you're not one of those guys who like to rub it in and say "I told you so" eh?
-
Well... we are 3rd from bottom for a reason... just not the one he was referring to
-
I thought they handled themselves pretty well for the 90 seconds to 2 minutes after Bristol scored the second goal. There was never a fear of a third. In the past we haven't wasted time and kept the ball properly. Gobern is not a left back, but we can't judge him after being thrown in at the deep end like that. This is my first time seeing us since the televised Millwall game, and we didn't look the same team for the last 10 minutes after switching back to 4-5-1. Bristol seemed to get through us a lot easier and have a lot more oppertunities. All in all though, very pleased. Antonio had a magic 4 minutes for his and Connelly's second goal. He definitely seems to be a player. His runs for both goals were almost identical.

Christ, and they showed the Tranmere match at HT... on the stream from Iraq Goals anyway.
-
Wow a girl. Stunner Edit... That was meant to be what a goal... what would Freud say about that?
-
Great run from Antonio

Bristol Rovers Vs Saints,1st half & half time chat..
Psycrow replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
Harding did well off the line, for a guy looking like he'd has his chips -
I'm more worried about the chances of keeping him if that is Preston's wish

Jay, I don't disagree with what you're saying. As I said above, I hope he never plays in the professional game again. I just think there is a difference between the type of jobs we discussed. If something had been chosen besides doctor I probably wouldn't even have started But the privacy and intimacy of a doctor's job is unavoidable. The examples you give above for a football can all be controlled by the club very easily. However its nice to have some debate without someone thinking I'm getting personal with them
