I noticed that Gabbiadini is sitting on the bench again. Austin might have recovered.

Keane looking to come off with an injury..

Well done Cedric defending against Lookman. He’s a decent young winger that Lookman...
-
Austin has a knock. Commentators think Gabbiadini is about to come on.
-
They did come back from two goals down at home to beat Watford...

You ****ing beauty Austin!!!!

I should get my eyes checked, Bertrand supplied the cross.

Boufal with the great cross, lovely headed finish by Austin.

One opinion a majority of both Everton and Saints supporters seem to have in common is that their team is going to lose on Sunday. Something has to give.

They are a truly special collection of individuals.

The only person definitely out is Targett, according to the article. Perhaps Davis is OK.

Lemina is a “late decision”: https://southamptonfc.com/news/2017-11-24/team-news-mauricio-pellegrino-southampton-everton-premier-league-1718 Luckily, we have enough players in the squad to replace Romeu, according to Pellegrino. Yay.

You are (unfortunately) correct.
-
Doesn’t exactly fill one with confidence does it? I’m still holding onto the hope that Lemina is fit and ready to go.

Football clubs and gender neutral pronouns.
Saint Albert replied to hypochondriac's topic in The Saints
The children over here seem to be very well informed on issues concerning gender fluid, non binary etc. and the dozens of terms involved. I suppose that I’m fine with addressing people in a manner that makes them comfortable, but the nomenclature is simply beyond my capacity to remember. -
A well-managed Saints team should beat the cluster**** that is Everton. It will feel like an opportunity squandered if we don’t win. I’m still hoping that Lemina is going to be fit to start. Does it mean anything that he’s on the cover of the matchday program?

He was “training well” last week, and making a faster than expected recovery according to this... https://southamptonfc.com/news/2017-11-16/team-news-mauricio-pellegrino-liverpool-saints-premier-league

I could explain to you that I was employing a colloquial turn of phrase, but I fear that explanation would be lost on you.

So did de Boer.

I promised myself I would never do this kind of thing but... Daleks get possessives and plurals mixed up.

It’s not that crazy. Transfer Markt has him at 9 million Euros... https://www.transfermarkt.com/shane-long/profil/spieler/37304

Everton: a team of firsts. First to install dugouts. First to have undersoil heating. First to attach a church to their stadium. First to have a player charged with simulation. Add it to their mighty list. They truly are pioneers. He’s actually been a comparatively reliable source of goals for them, so they will miss him. Anyone know when the hearing is?

It followed the pattern of several of our home games against the PL’s crappier teams, with Saints dominating in terms of possession, against resolute defending by Burnley, and few good opportunities for either side. We had one or two decent chances - a block on Bertrand when he looked like he had a clear shot on goal was one. If I remember correctly Burnley scored with pretty much their only attempt on goal, after Dyche switched to two upfront and Vokes mugged Yoshi and scored with a deflected header. It actually highlights Pellegrino’s team selection - Hoedt’s size might have been better against Burnley particularly considering the nature of the winning goal. Yoshi may have done better against Liverpool, with his quicker pace. If Pellegrino is mechanically alternating between the two, well that seems like poor team selection to me.
