There’s a few ITK rumours out there that Theo is interested.
-
I’d rather see JWP in the first team starting ahead of Redmond.
-
Unpopular as his appointment would be, Allardyce would be an improvement over Pellegrino, who is dire and out of his depth. Based upon his comments after pulling out of the running for Everton, he would have to be approached as a first choice and not as part of a pool of candidates, which is how Les seems to handle appointments. Based on those same comments he would also want a contract that is longer term than to the end of the present season. Unfortunately there are not a lot of reasonable replacement options out there, unless Saints can pull a rabbit out of the proverbial hat.

Based on the Liverpool game no shots on target needs to be considered when making your predictions.
-
You almost hope that getting passed over for the Bayern Munich job changed his attitude but it seems unrealistic to me. I wonder if Everton tried to get him.
-
So W.Brom sack Pulis, and place Megson in charge as caretaker, Everton sack Koeman and give Unsworth an extended run as caretaker whilst attempting to be publicly fleeced by Watford for the services of Silva, and Palace sack de Boer and get Roy Hodgson. There’s a theme there: replacement options are limited and rather ****ty.

Someone on the Not606 forum is claiming that Theo Walcott had discussions with Saints’ representatives during the international break.
-
Well, the budget has apparently not improved after the Gao takeover, in case Les was considering giving Tuchel another go.
-
Hopefully tomorrow’s board meeting is to discuss his compensation package before putting him out of his misery. Hopefully they have their replacement lined up instead of keeping Black on as caretaker manager. Based on the slow decision making leading up to the firing of Puel, I think Pellegrino will still be the manager for the Everton match.

Even considering bailing 4 months into his first season as Watford manager is beyond the pale for me. I wouldn’t want that ****er anywhere near Saints.
-
He was a better option as a manager than Pellegrino but also I think that he’s the type of “ambitious” character to bail on his team mid season for money and a bigger “project”. We’ll see what happens with Everton. Ultimately I’m not that fussed if Les passed him over in the summer., for that reason.

Yep. Not too many on here saw it as a good thing, especially when it became clear that Lander/Gao don’t have much that much money.
-
Both clubs are patient. Saints need to pull the trigger. I think that many can see this. But they won’t, not yet. I fully expect Pellegrino to be in charge against Everton. I’m sure Everton’s supporters hope he will be.
-
Signing FF to a new and improved contract was one of his more perplexing decisions.
-
I think that the Chinese season has ended, or is about to end.
-
I vote none of the above. You should clearly shake it all about.
-
He’s probably in Switzerland asking for his money back.
-
I hope Les understands this. Pick the best available experienced manager, rather than the one who is best at job interviews.
-
I voted go. If Les and co. can’t see that we’re on a hiding into nothing with Pellegrino, then I doubt their competence.
-
I certainly don’t trust him to get the next managerial selection right.
-
I’m trying to think of a worse Saints league performance since we returned to the PL...I’m struggling to come up with one.

Redmond. Damn.
