Was easier to save them onto facebook rather than arse around on photobucket. xx

I believe so. :-) BUT the 'chosen' pre-production mock-ups.
-
Apparantly these are the chosen designs from PDF's that were originally sent to the club. :-/

I am also 'assuming' it is official. ( I am not 100% but it looks pretty cosher ) I am also 'assuming' Mr Cortese won't be sending me a Xmas card this year after some of my shannanigans the last week. :-(

Good night.

With all due respect mate, press-ups are for upper body strength, not gonna be much use for the 10k. Mixing weights and cardio training in your fat burning zone will get the weight off, then move your target heartrate up to improve your cardio. I am doing the Great South Run in October. :-(

That's the problem with computer games etc. Luckily my boys are both football mad so kicking them out to have a kick about is no problem. It's not hard to keep your kids fit and healthy, just don't let them watch TV / Play on their computers during the day unless it's raining and don't feed them sh!t out the deep fryer.

I am 30 and... - Have 2 worn discs in my lower back. - Carpal Tunnel in my wrist. - Reccuring torn hamstring. - Permanent damage to an elbow I broke in 3 places. - I'm fat. :-(

I know someone who lost 7 stone in 7 months and has kept it off. My cousin lost 10 stone in just over a year and has kept it off. Yes weight rebound happens in alot of cases, that's generally because people seem to think if they exercise for 3 months and lose the weight, once they get to their goal weight they can go back to eating/not exercising like they did before. This obviously is complete b*llocks and as you state, when they do the body stores the food as fat and they end up putting on more weight than before. HOWEVER, if it is a permanent lifestyle change then weight rebound won't occur.
-
Just noticed actually, there is a feature in Mens Health on the 100 Push-Up plan in the current issue, might be worth a read, I haven't read it, due to a dodgy elbow which I broke a few years ago, push-ups are out.
-
Correct, depending on a) Your start weight. b) You can lose more each week providing you make your lifestyle changes permanent.

You mean like every other season that the prices have come out in March? How many teams know what division they will be in, in March and how many get their tickets on sale anyway? a) Lots of them. -
Oh and if you have an iPhone there are some good apps and it does help you massively if you calorie count everything you have each day.

Most gyms have short term memberships available either this month or next month ( 3 month memberships for the summer ) Even if they don't, all have a clause which means when you have your op you will be able to freeze your membership for up to 6 months. I am just starting on my lard-off again, I started it after Wembley but tore my hamstring which set me back, but getting back on it. I am going to train 6 days a week and follow my 'diet' 6 days a week. My day off I will drink beer ( in proportion though ) and eat what I want. Drink 2 litres of water a day. No more than 3 coffee/tea a day. My diet is simple. I won't eat any Carbs, so no bread, potato or pasta... chicken or tuna and veg for lunch and veg and lean meat for tea. I will split my 6 days on with one day cardio, next day weights. I reckon I will lose a stone each month, although I only really need to lose 2 stone max.

Lowe was just as arrogant as Cortese, maybe more so... he still gave in to the fans and backtracked about signing Hoddle. Cortese might be arrogant and make decisions on a whim, but he is also a businessman and looking after the investment of a billionaire owner... he won't make decisions that will cost SFC money, especially when it involves sacking someone who has probably the best chance of getting us promoted next season out of any managers likely to want to come here. It's not a few local people, every forum, radio phone-in, national newspaper, local newspaper, Southampton legends etc etc were calling for Pardew to stay... the vote of confidence was unanimous.
-
Not ITK, just common sense really based on a number of 'gut feelings' . Anyone who thinks a football club won't backtrack if they are faced with bad press and fan reaction don't need to look far back to the Hoddle situation. It was obvious to Cortese after the reaction in the media and press to the speculation that any decision to sack Pardew would have been unanimously unpopular... you don't make decisions like that a few days before season tickets go on sale... it just doesn't make for good business practice. If you read the statement taking into account my point of view, then it is clear to see it comes across as a very bitter rant aimed at a few people who he holds responsible for him not being able to sack Pardew ( ie: the legends )

You could indeed. But the difference is SISA have none of Saints supporters money, nor are they hiding the accounts from charity fundraisers, in which money was collected from Saints fans in good faith. I am sure many of their board has seen threads like this on here, it's not hard for them to release a quick statement about funds and finances of their charity and Trust events and then turn the light off the website. And yes, before Rebel of Fos comment, I have every right to question where my money went from Saints Aid collections, regardless whether I am a Trust member or not.

I have sent an email to the Echo again as follows... Dear Sir/Madam For the last few years I have looked on as on an almost daily basis you obtain quotes from members of the Saints Trust. I am still uncertain as to why you obtain these quotes as the organisation does not exist. I did contact you just to be told “ actually they do exist “, so I thought it my duty to respond and show you actually they DON’T exist. According to the Saints Trust news archives Jason McFeat was elected as vice-Chairman in August 2008 along with several other people, the last ‘activity’ by the Saints Trust was also at this time when they organised a ‘race night’ at Encore in Southampton back in 2008. The last AGM according to their news archive was in July 2008 ( although in their news archive all I can find is a provisional date and no results of the AGM or venue which leads me to assume that it never actually happened ) . Before then the last AGM or members meeting was in 2006, on the inception of the Saints Trust. So there has been no activity since 2008, during this time Southampton FC has changed from a PLC into a Ltd Company, so the role of a Saints Trust is now void as there are no shares held by the Trust. What happened to the revenue and funds from the Trust? Where has the money gone and what has happened to the shares of the Trust? This has not been communicated to members. How much was raised from the Saints Trust ‘Saints Aid’ gig? As someone who donated, I expected a number at the very least to be published by the organisation. There has been no communication with their members for almost 2 years... yet The Daily Echo insist on publishing articles written or quoted by ‘Saints Trust’ board members. Could I ask that if you insist that Saints Trust is indeed an organisation which exists, that you investigate and report the following... • Why the Saints Trust has not contacted it’s members in almost 2 years? • What has happened to the shares which each Saints Trust member owned? • What has happened to the money in the accounts of Saints Trust? • Why has there been no AGM for at least 2 years, probably 4 in reality as there is no news on the supposed AGM in 2008 • They claim to have 838 members. Is this REALLY true? Can they provide proof of 838 members who have OPTED IN during the last 12 months? • Saints Aid – How much did it raise? As someone who donated, I have not received any news about this either, which is disappointing. If you are going to insist using the Saints Trust as a tool to justify certain persons existence or to add substance to their quotes, then can I suggest you investigate the legalities of such an organisation. I would appreciate a response to this email and not simply passed off to your junk mail folder. Kind regards StuRomseySaint

For the record, I am still certain that Cortese had all the intentions to sack Pardew but had his hand forced to backtrack because of public/media and ex-Saints opinion.

Won't happen. Reading command a friendly 'fee' which will be a proportion of the almost non-existant gate reciepts they will make. -

We are one of the last 2 clubs in out of 70 teams to announce season ticket prices. The club will pay the price though because they will sell less season tickets because of it. 68 out of 70 teams have early bird offers in March/April for a reason... because it sells many more season tickets ( as well as being more customer friendly ) -
