I just put my England flag up but wasn't sure if it might offend Muslims or not... :-/ So just to make sure I sprayed Allah is a c*nt on it. :-)

I am more annoyed at Leeds United releasing a single, and even more that it's in the top 10.

It is a random quote, I would put them at about 50/50, if not then slightly swayed towards exercise. For every 1lb of muscle which you put on, you will burn an extra 50 calories a day, so if you pub on 10lb of muscle through weights then you resting metabolic rate will rise 500 calories a day... which is a much easier way to lose weight than trying to diet to a much lower calories per day with no exercise. For example, when I was in the Army I was tonked right up and my diet was about 5000 calories a day ( about double the RDA ) but due to the muscle mass from the training I was doing, I burnt it off each day and hardly had any fat on me. The food was hardly healthy either, lots of fried foods, fried breakfasts, kebabs etc, I never once dieted, just trained hard. That's anoter thing though, if you train hard and build yourself up... when you stop it makes it fookin hard to keep the weight off... which is why I am now a fatteh :-(

How on earth can't you keep your feet down when doing press-ups?

Body for life is a great plan. 12 weeks, 6 days with one rest day but the results are massive. http://bodyforlife.com/what-is-bfl I have seen the results on people I have sold the plan to and the before/after pictures on the website are accurate. Not sure how being a veggie will fit in to it... although if you contact them I am sure they have a meal plan for that too. As for protein, http://www.gnc.co.uk/home/index.htm ( there is one in Southampton if you are back here )

Depends what you are trying to do? Lose weight or build muscle mass or both?

This may actually make you laugh Mr Colbury... but I am actually a qualified Army PTI from my days there as well as working in a gym for all of last year, and also working with an international/olympic athletics coach when I was a good runner back in the day. So I do know quite a bit, I just choose not to practice what I preach. :-)

Yes, definately, hence my 'more transparancy' thread. He could have nipped that in the bud when the rumours first started to circulate, he could have cleared up the programme situation on the day, or at least on the Monday and nipped that rumour in the bud too. The thing is though, I think it was intentional that he sat back and watched the fallout... certainly a good way of guaging the level of public support to his manager, which showed him that the feelgood factor would be severely damaged if he sacked Pardew. Countless people on this thread have said that wouldn't bother him... Errrrr... feelgood factors sell season tickets, sell sponsorship, sell corporate membership, sell merchandise etc etc... YES of course he would have been bothered about that. As for the 'I will not respond to speculation etc, I haven't got time' line from Cortese... fair enough but when speculation reaches the levels it does, you have a duty to reassure fans and you employ Jordan Sibley to do just that.

Tuna is just about the best protein you can get. Also, use protein shakes and meal replacements if you are veggie. The best way either to build muscle or lose weight is eating 6 times a day. 7 am Breakfast 10 am Protein Shake / Meal replacement 1 pm Smaller Lunch ( tuna and veg for example ) 4pm Protein Shake / Meal replacement 7pm Dinner 9pm Small supper snack ( fruit, cottage cheese, crackers etc )

I am 3 days into my latest lard-off... although I am going for it this time and expect to lose at least a stone over the next month and around 20lbs between now and 15th July, which will put me back into the 'average' body fat mass. 6 days training a week. Day 1 - 60 mins Cardio - Interval Training Day 2 - 40 mins Cardio / Full body weights Day 3 - 60 mins Cardio - Fat burning training Day 4 - 40 mins Cardio / Full body weights Day 5 - 60 mins Cardio - Interval training Day 6 - 40 mins Cardio / Full body weights Day 7 - Rest from gym - 18 holes of golf / swim / long walk. Diet-wise I am sticking to low carbs and plenty of protein, chicken and/or tuna most days, no bread, pasta or potato. Lots of fruit and veg and no beer apart from on rest day. On the weights side of things starting off light and cranking up the weight week by week. I am tempted to have a go at the situp challenge as well but I think that might be one step too far and could risk burnout. 208lbs ( fatty ) as of yesterday. Off I go.

I don't think they will work... or at least they will until someone has an injury and sues the arse out of them, regardless of t's & c's

Wrong. He is a businessman. He would have done what is best for the business.
-
I am indeed on a 'less beer and no fags' diet. :-( W@nkers.
-
So he reckons every 11 games you till get that injury 6 or 7 times?
-
It does indeed... but it tastes alot better if you have at least 6 pints in the pub before you arrive at the stadium.

Blocks 41 and 42 and Itchen North to be made 'Adult Price only' blocks, which should hopefully keep out 'tards like reindeer boy.

I go down on 36 minutes, not 35 and I have missed loads of goals, I reckon I miss around 25 goals for or against during the course of the season due to beer drinking. I even managed to miss 2 of Saints goals at Wembley due to my love of all things alcoholic. :-)

Reading friendly at St Mary's - 31st July 2010

Well yes they are late, considering we are one of only 2 teams out of the top 70 teams who don't have them on sale. -
This is what I don't get. They had an easy run in the cup... and you cannot judge anyones performance based on that FA Cup run, all managers should be judged on their league performance... and Avram Grant was the worst manager in the league. Why exactly do the skates think he is so good?

Most online stores don't have a contact number or address... email them for it is you are that bothered. The owner is someone called Anil Viknez - on that note, I wouldn't use the site... even if it is cosher. It was also only registered at the end of April. Having said that, it's very likely it is a drop-shipping or affiliate website though.

I am going to give the 200 sit-up challenge a go I think. Not sure how my back will deal with it though. :-/

Yeah Great South Run is pretty flat, one of the flattest courses. I have put in the ballot for next years London Marathon too. lol

I didn't obtain them, a friend did, and I have granted his wish for anonymity, so I cannot tell you.
