quite nice site that looks at some old Patrick stuff including Saints. http://shop.patrick.eu/heritage

as I was saying...terrible:
-
Patrick are still going. Their current sportswear looks terrible and they don't even sell Keagan-kid or Michelle Platini boots any more.

no, but I believe that away fans can buy on the night from an away ticket booth. Just head to the away end and ask a steward.

Decent post. I like it when people offer an alternative when he called out. I have no idea if he would be good for us, but always nice to broaden to mind. As we saw when the great Adkins was sacked, the grass can be greener (possibly). MP may well be a very good manager, but more often than not it is the situation the manager lands in that defines them. When he joined we were a mid table side, much improved on early season issues. We had money to spend and a glut of great young players coming through - none of which were down to him. Pretty much the perfect storm for a manager if you ask me. Answering the OP, I'd prefer him to stay as I think the stability that will offer will help us next season more than the invigoration a new man might bring in. As we have seen at Man United a new CEO and manager can't half **** up a transfer window.
-
Some might say that we needed his arial strength yesterday. Jos would have been a better option than Yoshida IMO and this was a poor selection by MP. No modification of the side to combat the opposition by the manager.
-
He will be sacking his chief scout then I presume as he's brought 8 in since he joined.
-
Don't underestimate what Davis does for us defensively and in terms of possession. I like Ramirez a lot, but we will be more open and have less ball. Whether that is compensated by what Ramirez offers I don't know, but just because Davis does have a nut meg in him doesn't mean he does contribute greatly to what is good about us.
-
The opportunity in the cup certainly was IMO, but not the season as a whole.
-
Why not wingers? A plan B needs something different to what we have. Either way we need players that can dribble and create to add to those we have.
-
To be fair jay rod hasn't impressed when played down the middle on his own, although he hasn't ever had a long run there. The wide left position suits him I think, but we need a second option.
-
Ramirez is our only plan B at present. Almost everyone is saying we need a striker and a CB, but for me another attacking midfielder and some wingers to back up Rodriguez and Lallana are needed to give us a little variety in attack.

I'm not a bed wetter, in fact i agree that we played pretty well and have said as much on here already, but I think we should have played jos. He had a great game against west ham last season and is the right player to combat their style. Yoshida just does not win enough in the air for me.
-
Yep, our premiership status is hanging by a thread...
-
We played pretty well. We controlled the game, got between the lines and created lots of half chances and a couple of proper chances. I saw effort, quality on the ball and a decent pattern of play. The one thing we did a little too much was build up nicely then cross from too deep, which suited their big defenders. We need to get to the bye line a bit more often. Sometimes you lose games like this, that's life. We didn't create quite enough guilt edge chances. In the end aN offside goal and a **** up by Yoshida, that we'd never hear the end of it was Jos, killed us.
-
Agree gaston has looked good, but we created.loads of chances which must be seen as a positive.
-
Perhaps not the time or place but the question of attractive football vs results at all costs has never been more poignant. Perhaps the cup defeat has knocked the stuffing out of me a bit, so this doesn't hurt as much as it should, but I'd still take the odd defeat if it means watching our passing style.
-
Another half chance. Losing is painful, but we've played much worse than this and won.
-
Shame that it look like direct football will win the day again. Would be nice if Gallagher could notch.
-
Take one of the three chances and it's 2-2. At least we are creating. The issue is our ability to defend a crossed ball today.
-
I am not sure we are over stocked with attacking midfielder options. A goal every three games for a midfielder is good going.

Seven figure?

Section 106 sounds like a bribe from a property developer to a council to ensure a development goes ahead. With struggling for cash councils everywhere that sounds like an open invitation.
