  1. thanks, but the table doesn't lie. You were the champions and deservedly so.
  2. I can understand the old fellas frustration. Shame to lose a long term supporter because of a ridiculous charging system.
  3. half in we'll be 2-0 and cruising. Hopefully. Not thought about the game much all week. A quick look on here and the heart rate has increased already.
  4. Made me s******, but there are plenty of Saints fans with a PO postal code.
  5. Chin up mate. At home it will probably feel poor atmosphere wise, with even smaller away crowds, but away games will be good. Orient and Brentford are always great fun if you fancy a pint or three before or after a game.
  6. it was Mike Wilde who shut them wasn't it?
  7. Chelsea at home, first season at SMS. Got a season ticket with a mate and his ageing Dad and the standing up was too much for him so we moved, begrudgingly on my part to the Chapel. Far too quiet for my liking, although much much better in the Prem than in the Championship. Thankfully my mate sodded off to London leaving me to move to the Itchen. been back in the Northam a few times for league cup games, but regretted it as they usually do cheap offers for kids and the place if full of little ****s who know absolutely **** all about the game.
  8. It certainly is Scott Hiley. He is a bit of a cult hero at nottarfkrap by the way. The photo is taken at White Hart Lane in the 3-0 defeat during the 1998/99 season. El Khalej did not play in that game. Oh and Hiley wore Diadora boots, seen clearly in the pic.
  9. Been thinking the same and I think I read on here that Bart is out of contract in the summer. He responded well to the nightmare against Blackpool, but he still doesn't convince me. Davis deserves his chance, but the speed of the game is so much quicker he might be tested as he was at Sunderland in the top flight. Hope he shines as I have total respect for what he has done here. He was slated for years (and still is to a much lessor degree), unfairly in my opinion, yet he had the balls to put mistakes behind him and perform outstandingly well over the last four seasons.
  10. if there was any danger he wouldn't have played in the reserve game a few weeks back, but I'm with you I am doubtful he will make it all the way back. I think despite his good showing in the first couple of game this season most fans have serious doubts about him as a top notch defender. Not nearly strong enough in the air for me. That said the ball is on the floor a lot more in the top flight so maybe his pace and tight marking will be very beneficial. Tevez vs Martin or Seaborne? Hmmmm.
  11. he had one shocker, but by and large he has done well in the other games and not exposed at all and that's from someone that can't stand slow fullbacks. He's not my cup of tea and he ball watched badly for the `offside' goal on Saturday but can't agree with that generalisation. I do agree that we can do better and might have to.
  12. Has he? I slated him when he first came to the club, but there has been a continuous improvement from what I can see. He lacks pace, so doesn't get quite tight enough for my liking specifically because he'd concerned about getting done behind, but he certainly started to get tighter and also put a tackle or two in. I'm not sure he's inconsistent, he gives you the same in every game. Not 100% convinced, but he'll start and I doubt we'll bring in a left back. Harding is even more consistent, but he lacks genuine class and pace.
  13. he's gone through spells this season of being less impressive, but equally he's been outstanding in other periods.
  14. Not sure always injured is totally fair. He dislocated his shoulder before the season started in 2010 and was out till November, but still played 24 times, and he has played 37 times this season - and been an unused sub in several more games.
  15. Leicester can't pass, can't win a header, never get on to a second ball. They are unrecognisable from the side that took us to the cleaners
  16. desperate times
  17. please please please will you keep the ball away from Konchesky. Clueless and useless
  18. Konchesky really is woeful.
  19. Konchesky is a pub player.
  20. Leicester look like they are overly fussed.
  21. lovely cross, go on son...yeeeeeeeeeeesssssssss, get in there you ****ing beauty
  22. I imagine the ref stopped his watch a few times when Kelvin was taking his time with goal kicks etc.

    Chaplow!!!

this. Looked like Lallana was possibly carrying a groin strain yesterday as well.
  24. Lambert followed very closely by Jos, lots of other good performers, but those two have been outstanding.
