just watched the highlights and I thought Hammond was a tad unlucky to get the first yellow but boy did he try hard to get after Leigetwood. That kind of effort will get us far. For the second yellow Guly's pass was sloppy, but the tackle was also rash. I have to say Martin should have done a lot better with his chance. From there he has to score. On the way home the locals station bemoaned the performance on Mills and I think the fans have been less than impressed with him. I thought he was OK myself, but wasn't looking hard.

two very poor passes I agree that were very costly, but he wasn't alone in making poor passes and I thought the rest of his passing was well weighted and accurate. I was comparing him to Cork who was a liability. I only gave him a 5 by the way as he didn't do a lot.

worst display this season by far IMO so to get a point with ten men is terrific. We were absolutely woeful in midfield, Cork especially was miles off his best and I'm starting to wonder if the rotation policy has ****ed him as he was in unbelievable form before being `rested'. I would agree with that. Thankfully we won't come up against the likes of Carew every week, but quite clearly Jos isn't in Jaidi's league for winning headers - he would have been perfect for this particular game - but he's still good in the air and very calm in possession.

Have you paid a deposit that they can take from should you up sticks and take your side elsewhere to play?

I've been wondering what to post on this thread as I've given him top marks in pretty much every match report I've done since he came here, so I could hardly suggest he isn't any good. But the Celtic fans are spot on, he does lack pace, which so far has not been exposed. I think apart form one or two top, top centre backs you will always have to trade pace for arial ability. Right now that extra power in the air is essential to our `well being', but the higher you go the more pace you need. I'm more for worrying about now, so let's get that loan extended and then see where we are in the summer.

It says clubs would get £120,000 max if they don't sign, but it also says there is £5.4m ring fenced for youth development - £7500 per club if divided by 72, so what is the total figure clubs would get if they signed up to this change? It suggests a lot more, but how much more?

lightweight at CB and not good enough to play at left back IMO. Curtis Davis is the only defender Brum have who I'd want here.
