seeing as he has taken over £200,000 off them without contributing in any way, we can say that agent Niemi has does a tremendous job to date. However should he be asked to play in that game I would expect him to have a recurence of his knee `injury'

Danns and Puncheon are different types of players. I'd take both, but if we are going get rid of players lets ensure its Pulis and Molyneux.

I rate Gobern on a similar level. He is an athlete and given time to develop he will be a good player. I don't like seeing young players leave. I know many fall by the wayside, but these two seem to have been cut with a lack of long term vision. I'm told on here that AP knows best, but all managers make mistakes and this might be one. We are told we are looking to stand on our own two feet, we're spending money on these facilities and youth academy to bring players through, but all we seem to be doing is spending money, blocking routes to the first team and giving away prospects. Paterson was ideal reserve for Lambert. Young and hungry, low wages and willing to wait for his chance. He competed well in the CCC yet we let him go for nothing. I suspect Gobern will go for nothing as well.

what players in non league football do you know (Luton apart)? Like you say there are real gems in non league if you know where to look. And gems are exactly what we need right now, tomorrow and any other day of the week, so I don't understand your post at all. Don't worry about whether you know them, where they came from, just care about how good they are.

so many things wrong with this post David its not true. For starters Wotton is not `good' as an individual, partnership or any other quantity. What he is thugh is `hard' and a leader so we have both of them, what he doesn't offer if the ability to cover the ground or play in congested areas. The centre of midfield usually is congested so that represents a real problem. Lee Holmes is not hard, a leader or a midfield general in any way shape or form. His game is keeping the ball and putting in the right service. If you meant him being in the side gives you more confidence then fair enough. But he's yet to get his match fitness up so he doesn't inspire me with any confidence at all, never mind the fact he doesn't track ba.ck No problem with Antonio. He was our only outlet at Brentford. I wouldn't worry about Morgan either. If we get the ball down and play he will be that midfield general (whatever that means). The key is getting the ball down. The combination of Seabourne and Wotton clearing the danger even when they have time is what hurt us at Brentford. A bit more composure and the ball will be on the deck a bit more and we can play the football to take Stockport apart.

AP had no qualms about selling off the decent prospect Paterson, so I Gobern could well go.

these straw clutching ****s need to be put straight on this. I'm getting fed up of hearing about posts from single brain cell fish ****ers on this WW2 bull****.

I was talking about James.

Storie said he is happy to stay, now.

Tells stories said that they always knew there was interest in Kaboul, but admitted that until now it had been paper talk only - ie no offers from Man City or Sunderland. Apart from Begovic today no other club had shown any interest in any of their other players. With no interest elsewhere they have no choice but to sell Begavic. With installments due on Kaboul dn the sell on, you can guarentee that money handed over will be relatively small. It also sounded as though that the Kaboul money will pay wages. What it won't do is cover the HMRC if the court finds on the side of the taxman rather than pompey and insist on the full £7.5m being paid. If they lose the case they won't have the money to pay it off in full so will be reliant on the taxman accepting a phased set pf payments.

which would explain why he went for a x-ray just over a week ago at Southampton hospital.

taken from Pompey online, someone has spoken to Mark Mudie (The Quay presenter and fan) "I have been given express and direct permission to put this out. Mark has spoken to Peter Storrie. Peter is sat in his office as is Avram Grant. Neither of them has anything to do with this at all. Azougy is out right now at the request of those who own the club selling everyone they can to avoid our club going out of business NEXT WEEK. Azougy and co have taken total control of disposal of players. Storrie and Grant I am told by Mark are fuming at the situation but are unable o prevent it."

plus Waigo, Antonio and Lallana should we be short. Saga had to go, maybe Paterson was a must for the Barnard deal to go through. In the end it all comes down to the fact that AP doesn't rate him. A young player though is sureley worth waiting for to see if he will develop, especially if you have other players filling the birth so you could loan him out if need be. Mabe 4-5-1 is on the cards so no need to have lots of strikers. Doubt it though.
-
that price is a bit more like it.
-
Paterson? Oh.
-
he's not. Anyone with a decent size and strength centre half has dominated him if the service has been hoof style.
-
no sympathy for the mackems. If you sign a player that went on strike then chances are he will do the same thing to you down the line.
-
Pompey website has been shut down due to non payment to the company that runs it, that is what I am told by skate mate. I guess you worked that out for yourself though.
-
actually he's gone on loan till the end of the season with a loan fee involved. The loan will turn into a transfer in the summer with an aditional fee paid. How this effects what Watford get as their own transfer fee is unclear. Hopefully the bastards haven't found some way of screwing Watford over, but the fact te £950,000 move collapsed and then has morphed into this loan suggests they will certainly delay any payments and maybe even reduced them. I'm sure we will hear from Watford fans if they have found a loop hole. Strange old transfer in the first place with no money up front and then large sums down the line, no wonder he never played, if they did play him you can bet your bottom dollar a fee would have to have been paid.

Papa is a striker in my opinion and should play down the middle. He can do a decent job as a winger, but certainly not a right midfielder in a 4-4-2. A few offsides and Pardew seems to have lost all confidence in him. Very strange. AP also doesn't seem to be able to pick a side without Lambert. He didn't trust Paterson to replace him, and he didn't trust Barnard to play with Waigo when Lambert looked tired.
-
You skate bastards continuously for five minutes would be nice.
-
firstly Stock is out of contract in the summer so to pay £800,000 for him now is extravagent. As for Puncheon, he signed for £250,000 and failed to shine at CCC level so a million sounds a shed lot to me despite him having a decent season so far.
-
nice move, tajke their star player before the second leg of a semi final. Inspired timing. I'd of thought the loan deal would have a clause in it that if someone offered a certain amount in the window then all bets were off.
-
I think the O'hara deal is more worrying. He has been very good for them and now they won't have to play Papa Booba Diop, who is possibly the worst player in the Premiership at this moment in time. After last night I am starting to get very worried about eh Derby game. I hope they sell Kaboul as he holods things together at the back for them and losing him would give us half a chance.
-
so that's the end of that then Arizona. Do you think Barnard looks a better player? After Saturday I had my doubts, but after last night barnard might be a buy and a half at this level.
