Parma will probably want paying and bring zero fans. We have at least 300 mugs willing to pay £15 for a friendly
-
rather than wanting topull out perhaps they see this as an opportunity to now reduce the amount offered to the creditors. £14M + right of appeal £13M without it?
-
what I don't understand is why having punished us do they seem intent on grinding us into the dirt? As one of the 72 members you'd think they'd be doing their best to help us survive not their utmost to have us liquidated. Yes we did wrong and the -10 seems fair to me, but there is no reason whatsoever why the FL could not approve the new ownership, allow us to appeal and then reject that appeal if they see fit. If they believe in their decision to **** us 10 points you'd think they would not fear an appeal in any way.
-
so the £14m rumoured fee clears all debts AND pays the mortage off as well. Is that conformed anywhere? Blimey that would be fantastic.
-
enjoy the exclusivity or alternativley just remember back to 2003 and the thousands desperate for FA Cup final tickets.
-
absolutely brilliant news. I rate Patterson highly and he has shown enough for me to think he will do us proud in the coming season.
-
someone I championed many years back. Not sure he would go as low as the third tier of English football.
-
on our way on our way, on our way, on our way I don't care where you come from I don't care where you come from all i know is we are on our way

Mark Dennis said one of the backers was a stock broker worth £50m and then there was another party and he was worth `a lot more'.
-
exactly how I feel. What a shot in the arm that would be. The club is desperately in need of a change of momentum and KK would offer just that. Obviously it doesn't mean we will suddenly become successful, but at a time when we are extremely fragile and there is still a genuine risk that we could go down next season we can start considering Saints in a positive light at last. I just wonder also if players like Surman and Lallana might think twice before taking moves?
-
Donny Rovers perhaps seeing as he is an Armthorpe lad.
-
why people think that tactics are less important the further down the leagues you go I will never know. I play 5 a side and even at that crappy level tactcis come into play. As for thinking that our players are going to be fitter because we have more dumbells in our gym...gee

and there's me thinking that a newspaper is there to report news.

no sooner do we sign up do we find out they (Perform) are chumps. Not sure of the financial implications of joining the Perform `group' but I think it is a damn shame that the web business is not performed in house or at the very least by a Southampton based company (apologies of Perform are just that but I would guess they are London based) - I suppose with our recent financial record maybe we are not such an attractive client, but I'd like to see the local community/businesses benefitting from the club which I have no doubt gets a revenue stream from somewhere based on it being a `community club'.
-
how much did that cost Steve? Who got the clubs nomination then?
-
don't be embarressed, just be thankful we feature in the table at all at this point. Its going to be a long tough season but everyone likes an underdog and we are just that right now.

Rasiak back to Poland - Saints to get two players, a coach and 300k EURO
Chez replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
do any Polish sides have 300,000 Euros to spend on players, not to mention the 15k a week wages? Somehow I doubt this story has legs. -
if living in Plymouth is the only other choice...
-
from what I have seen of him he looks like he has great potential and might offer exactly what we need next season.
-
he certainly doesn't tuck enough of the 1 on 1's away and his shooting from outside of the box was woeful, appauling even, I don't recall him hitting the target last season for distance. The question I keep on asking thouhg is if we let all these `failed' players go will we actually replace them with anything better?
-
great idea, really enjoyed reading it, although I far prefer printed magazines to electronic versions but maybe I'm just getting old.
-
have you seen nothing of Patterson?
-
after the dissaster last season with Mpenza I don't think they will be paying over the odds for anyone.
-
I thought 4th in a three man race was bad enough.
-
if you had to rank the three it would have to be Safri first, Wright second and Wotton 4th.
