  1. Dyer wanted to leave, it made no difference that a new buyer was comng in he wanted to get away from Sotuhampton and obviously Swansea offered a very attractive escape route. As for McGoldrick and Surman I think its clear both feel they are good enough toplay in the CCC so they too may be askign for a move (new owner with money or not). For those players the world doesn't stand still whilst due dilligence takes place. Even if the new owners were in place they would still be targets for the likes of Forest.
  2. for £1.2m which might put McGoldricks potential fee into perspective.

    Surman to Forrest

Forest are spending a fair wedge on McGoldrick, Surman, Adebola, McKenna...they don't look relegation favourites to me. Sadly.

    Surman to Forrest

no need for consultants, at our last few home games a certain David Pleat was in attendance
  5. Very good post and exactly how I feel except for not having confidence in Thomson yet.

    Surman to Forrest

never could understand why you couldn't moderate your own thread title...
  7. others on here suggest he signed an extension while back though I never saw that on the OS myself.
  8. http://www.forest.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=156220 this source has been pretty accurate recently when it comes to incoming players to Forest.
  9. ban drums from footbaLL GROUNDS
  10. was it (as widely reported) for £200,000 now, £200,000 in a while and a load of add ons?
  11. I am amazed there are any fans at all on here that are happy with a name change. SFC forever in my book.
  12. that's no good. People want to know in advance that that section is open.
  13. actually in that 2005/6 season Leeds' home gate only dropped below 20k twice (both 18k) for league games, but certainly the high ticket prices brought by Bates the following season (and then again the season after that in League 1) had a massive effect on overall attendances (they dropped bloew the 20k mark a lot). Bates took the **** and our next new board had better not do the same.
  14. there is interest but no offer on the table yet. Our chances look slim to none
  15. I was thinking the same thing. Would the buyer perhaps offer £1m less if he is sold before they complete the deal? Very interesting timing of Forrests part. If we sell him who are we going to attract that is better? League 1 football is not a big draw if you haev any class at all. Mind you if we sold him and we managed to bring in N'Guessan I'd be happy.
  16. do you think they will remember the taunts at SMS as we all but sent them down?
  17. would it not be more appropriate to thank JP and the players for losing every week thereby putting off the more casual fans. I'd of thought there were far more casual fans deciding to not turn up than boycotters.
  18. to be honest I'm surprised Swansea want him, and I say that not because of the bagge he has btu because in the game I saw him play for Swansea he didn't look like he was any better than when he played for us.
  19. not sure Mat gives a **** if we have Stella or Cider on tap.
  20. what makes you think that? Rasiak is on massive wage and only a side pushing for promotion into the Prem with a parachute payment can afford him IMO.

    Wotte.

I'd like to add that the style of football offered by Wotte's team was appauling, worse than Branfoot at times.
  22. why thank you kind sir. Hows about tellng me what you think of Saga, Skacel, Perry, McGoldrick and Lallana which will enable me to gauge the value of your own `Surman' opinion.
  23. I watch him every week and I think he is decent.
  24. isn't he also on the board of the company that owns Man City? Is that allowed?
