  1. Palace beat Wolves last week whilst in admin. Trading whilst insolvent might be a different thing altogether
  2. I can live with him taking them on his side, but jogging over to take them on the left is bloody annoying.
  3. difficult to watch the game without looking ahead to Saturday and how we would be taken aparrt if we did many of the things we did last night. Ignoring Saturday for now, it was a decent first half and a terrible second half. Only Waigo had a really decent game and many had shockers: Morgan, Hammond and Jardi. Davis 6 not much to do really Harding 7 solid, didn't get forward as much as usual. Never beaten Fonte 6 didn't win quite enough in the air and looked less composed than usual. Him and Jaidi seemed unsure of their roles. Jaidi 5 Wilbraham's caused him real problems and he never timed his jumps. Lots of pushing in the box could have cost us a pen on another day. Poor distribution. Thomas 6 beaten for pace by their big centre back (no 2) which shows how little pace he has. Lucky not to get sent off. Never seen him run so fast as when he chased over to try and get their player sen off. Not impressed by that. Antonio 6 excellent first half, causing all kinds of problems with his pace and power. Nothing in the second half. Hammond 5 looked miles off the pace and commited maybe 10 fouls. Should have been booked. Looked slow and tired which is to be expected. Good run out for him though. Morgan 4 one of his worst games. Never won a tackle Lallana 6 very good first half, dissappeared in the second. Lambert 7 why is he tacking corners. Waigo 9 brilliant game and the difference between the two sides.
  4. can they go into administration before 19th to avoid reappearing in court?
  5. so they do not need to pay within 9 days, they just need to add up all their debts and creditors and provide a bank statement.
  6. what is a statement of affairs?
  7. £11.5m not £7.5m
  8. does executing the winding up order mean force them to pay up of die, or just kill? Does adjournment mean time to complete payment, or time before they come back to discuss again before the judge
  9. the NEWS state that their journalists have no confirmed either of these two statements. I wonder if the NEWS's reporters are struggling with the old predictive texting
  10. according to HMRC. That doesn't mean they will be liquidated.
  11. there is a live blog on the Portsmouth News website using reporters in the court sending info back to their newsroom. That's who. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/custompages/custompage.aspx?pageid=81654
  12. they paid them, just late. Get it right...
  13. they may get 28 days but it will be 28 days to trasnfer the £7.5m-11m into the HMRC's bank account hopefully
  14. to pay it all? Thats not what the news are saying.
  15. starting again in 5 minutes.

  18. what's that coming over the hill, its relegation, its relegation or sha la la la la la la la la la, sha la la la la la la la la la, sha la la la la la la la la la, as the skates go ****ing bust
  19. depends if you see future tax revenue as a good thing or not. I mean if they put them out of business thats one less company paying tax. I doubt the HMRC actually want this. Any future tax is better than nothing.
  20. From the BBC website news item posted Tuesday 9th: "The other creditors named in the action have been satisfied. The Revenue are likely to want a chunk of cash now and to be convinced that if they agree to re-schedule the remainder of the debt, that they will be paid." said Peter Tells Stories to me that sounds as though absolutely no negotiations have taken place as yet. If they had then he would know what HMRC would want.

    Poopey Ticket update

Get to the game lad. This is what football is all about. A feisty local derby and a chance to get one over on them down the road. Sod the rest, if they don't fancy it its their loss. If you've not been before let me tell you the atmosphere is as good as any derby.
  22. I am wrong. The original agreement was 11 games and then the deal became permanent. When he played 11 games Pompey could not buy anyone so the two clubs renogotiated the deal. I would GUESS that the deal included a clause that said if the transfer embargo was lifted then Pompey would have to buy him outright. It has been lifted, but not to the extent where they can actually buy him - so there lies the difference in opinion.
  23. the two league cups games make the difference. Lens say they count, the skates say the don't. so they will have to either pay the £3m fee or pay a fine for having too many loanees in the squad. I presume Dindane's registration must be ratified by the Premier League/FA before he can play games, so this should be a formality?
  24. apart from the fact Preston, Manfield, Farnborough, Harrogate Town, Lille and Motherwell wear Caterbury kits I don't think you are far wrong.
  25. out if interest were the sash and socks red?
