  1. along came Zippy, who got a bit lippy, so Bungle filled him in.
  2. It's pretty amazing how "incoming" focused this window is. It feels like we are actually trying to strengthen now, rather than play risky too-clever games in the last week of the window. I know Forster and Broja (and Long) have gone but none of those are sell-to-buy departures. Not been like this for a long time. That said, please get a really good striker.
  3. I'm impressed by anyone that calls me by my original (too long) username.
  4. No idea what anyone is worried about. No-one with the name "Tyler Dibling" is going to make it as a top professional footballer. Sounds like the class dweeb in a 1980s teen drama. Ridiculous. It's like having a modern footballer called Lionel.
  5. I look forward to you enthusiastically linking lots and lots of Skwawkbox articles in the coming months. Because you will do that, won't you? Jesus wept.
  6. I think I read somewhere it is someone who used to play for us. Danny Higginbotham maybe. Edit: sorry checked Wikipedia. It's Tahar El Khalej.
  7. Does that mean as Saints fan isn't allowed to say "stripes all the way", then?
  8. Oh I do hope we sign a new right back pretty quick
  9. We're also in the Premier League, not trying to stay out of league one.
  10. Agree with this. I'm worried we are getting a bit carried away with the idea that all these nippers are wonderkids. We don't want to end up as a sexier version of the Poortvliet disaster.
  11. #catchmentarea
  12. A bit too much white for me, but basically a rehash of the Hassan Kachloul/Dean Richards late nineties Rupert Lowe Own Label kit. OK. But not the worst Saints kit I have ever seen. Cortese will always take that crown.
  13. The margins weren't that fine. Burnley were shit all season apart from a short post-Dyche bounce (when the divs on here all decided they would go on to win every single game they played - no wins in their last four) They were never anywhere near us at any point. You can turn your nose up at our "fluke" Arsenal win, but don't you think Burnley may have got a few scrappy points or flukey wins in their 35 point season, or was every single point brilliantly earned by mighty Burnley because they were just so fantastic all season? If that was us you'd be fuming, not drooling over how great they are.
  14. The social media comedy skit thing is probably related to returning to training. I reckon Tuesday.
  15. Never heard of him but reading up, its pretty clear he can be the Niall Quinn to Adam Armstrong's Kevin Phillips. Perfect. Get it in the mixer.
  16. If that was the penalty shoot out at the Kassam then I was there and no one can take that away from me. Championes Championes ole ole ole
  17. Feels unlikely the media team would launch a new kit on a Sunday (unless the date is somehow specifically relevant to the kit: June 26th I don't recall as being significant to the club) It's going to be a weekday, when the people that work in media/communications are actually at work.
  18. That's the Swiss Army Knife of conspiracy theories right there. Absolutely sensational. 👏 👏 👏
  19. I felt that he would slot beautifully into the role of "disappointingly anonymous Scandinavian midfielder who flatters to decieve and has the odd good game early on that his defenders then go on and on about for the subsequent three years of his contract." Oh, what might have been.
  20. There's only one man that could run that Ice Hockey team.
  21. Dermot O'Leary is famously a paid up member of the Deep State. I don't remember what he said to be honest, I was too busy saying what a shit guess it was. The previous person said Roy Hodgson as well. Hopeless. Universal suffrage is wasted on these people.
  22. What mob is that then? You seem to be part of a mob telling people that it is dangerous to not listen to what Matthew Le Tissier's opinion is. Why the fuck should anyone listen to him? People don't have to. Guess what, it's a free country. Ronald Reagan was Governor of California who later became President. Previous to that, which i have just learnt now, is he lead a Union (the actors Guild). So a fairly standard pathway for politicians in the US. You think Le Tissier is going to stand for elected office? Good luck with that.
  23. He's an ex footballer mate. No one is stopping him saying whatever shit he is coming out with. He has a bigger forum and access to people than the vast majority of the population. Not listening to him is not dangerous, its fine. His opinion is irrelevant.
  24. I am absolutely certain there is nothing remotely "dangerous" about not listening to Matthew Le Tissier's opinion on anything.
