Apart from that semi we were generally terrible in that tournament. Absolutely no better than what Southgate delivered in a semi and a final. You’ve just got older.
-
Not sure you quite understand what Group B actually is. You've heard of Sweden, right?
-
Nice to see the old Hasenhuttl Irreplaceabilty Clause being activated for Southgate as well. Bravo SaintsWeb 👏

Absolutely buzzing for the world cup 🥳

Exclusive insight like that is the reason I am on this forum.

"Operation Itchen Bridge" as it is known in media circles.
-
People will need to remind of the groundswell of forum opinion all agreeing in 2018 that Mark Hughes must be replaced by Ralph Hasenhuttl immediately. Most people had barely heard of him or didn't think it was a possibility. It came out of nowhere. As did Koeman. As did Poch. As did Adkins. As did Puel, Sturrock, Strachan, Dave Jones, Hoddle, Pardew. This forum/fanbase has never predicted a manager successfully since maybe Alan Ball. And on this forum people stop need to stop just hovering around the handful of managers that they have actually heard of and then pretending after that there is "nobody". It's not going to be bloody Thomas Frank. It's not going to be Pochettino. That doesn't mean there is "nobody".
-
I don't think those sentiments are mutually exclusive. I agree with that analysis and agree with the thought that it probably was the right decision to sack him.
-
Just put "Hasenhuttl" in Twitter and nothing. Except for the stuff about betting markets.
-
Still up there hours later 😂 Hasenhuttl was sacked by the Saints on Monday 19th September 2022, due to fan pressure, poor performances & poor results.
-
I was hoping that was going to be the follow up question in the interview. It's not a "difficult" decision for her because she wants to do it. Really wants to do it. One of the very first announcements leaked out, literally top of the fucking list on becoming prime minister. If the Queen hadn't died it would have already been announced.
-
I think I got around 400 for calling someone a fucking lying prick.
-
Fucking lying prick.

He was sacked in July, so not even three months ago. He'll be on a sizeable compensation package, and it's pretty common for managers to have a bit of time between roles. His level has not gone back down to the level of Espanyol or us. Honestly this is just bizarre.
-
Fifth, fifth and winning the FA Cup is pretty perfect for a club Leicester's size, Celtic he did very well also, pretty perfect. No one predicted the second place he got at Liverpool, he began the rebuilding. Plus Swansea was pretty perfect as well. He's done excellent work at four clubs in a row. Pretty rare.
-
But that isn't his level.
-
My point is as usual you haven't got a fucking clue. Just lazy, TalkSport knee-jerk "they've lost touch with the game, they've got no passion" on the back of 7 whole games into the season. Utter drivel. And then the "he's the messiah" stuff about some assistant manager who has been in place for two entire months. Including being the assistant manager for Friday's debacle. Gee, what an impact he's made with his "passion" and "fresh new ideas". You'd never fucking heard of him at the start of June. So what's your point?
-
West United finished 7th last season, Leicester 8th but yeah.
-
That doesn't answer the question that was asked. Why would he want to come back here? He doesn't want to come back here. He's not coming back here. Get used to it, it is never going to happen.

Calm down. Fulham can easily go on a terrible run soon enough, like a billion promoted clubs before them. Brighton will not carry on as they are. In contrast WHU will very likely turn things around. The only thing that is certain is we are without doubt a bottom 6 team. What I worry about is we are as capable of finishing bottom as we are 15th.
-
It's a shame both Roy Evans and Gérard Houllier are both dead because we could have brought one of them in as joint manager.

I've already painted PLEZE LESTER DON'T TAKE RALF AWAY on an old bed sheet

Quite right, those guys definitely deserve a rise.

Of all the choices a government can make to improve the lives of those "most in need", do you genuinely think that removing the cap on bakers bonuses is the most effective choice? Maybe there's other stuff they could do first. As mentioned above, if you think this is all going to be subject to 40% tax like the Christmas bonus in your own pay packet then good luck to you.
