Just making the point about your definition of people who have broken rules and people who have definitely not broken any rules whatsoever because they were not fined by a serving constable at the time. You're very welcome.
-
I've reached the logical conclusion that he must apply the same thinking to Jimmy Savile who never received even a fine or nothing from a serving constable so clearly never broke a rule in his entire life.

Jesus fucking wept you are special.

Not sure you've grasped the concept that the government/scientific advisors/public health England/the Prime Minister on national TV/Ministers in Parliament/etc laid out a series of rules for everyone to follow back during March and then further rules after that and on to today. They were rules. The advice was not "you can all just follow your own morals and then let's see how we all get on".

I think what you're doing is all very cute, almost adorable.

Jannik Vestergaard - Official: Signs for Leicester
CB Fry replied to ChiefScummer's topic in The Saints
All the analysis we do on the suitability of players to fit our unique playing system and our club culture really does pay off. I think we need to thank young Ross as well. -
If you're thick enough to believe the trip to the north east stuff, that's up to you, that was all against the rules, which is why the Conservative defence at the time was a load of cock about "any parent would do the same". If he hadn't broken any rules, the defence would be a pretty simple "he didn't break any rules". But beyond that he broke the rules from the get-go - he went home, attended to his sick wife displaying symptoms, and then went back into his workplace.

But it's you, no one else, just you going on and on about an opposition MP who is not part of the government being somehow responsible for "undermining the government's message". I've quoted you saying it. No one else. As previously covered, an opposition MP is no more responsible for upholding the government's message than I am. I'll just repeat what I said before, still unanswered: Who is all this stuff on this thread about the SNP woman directed at? No one on this forum is defending her, her party have dumped her, Krankie has been completely unequivocal about her view. Any time you want to tell us why you keep going on and on about her, please let us know.

Why the fuck do you keep going on about undermining the government's message? She's not in the government and is no more responsible for the upholding the government's message than I am. She shouldn't break the rules, but when she did she apologised and her employers have thrown the book at her and made an example of her: if anything she's been used to underline the seriousness of the rules. Sturgeon got some easy "strong leader" points out of it. She should resign as an MP, I am going to trust the people in her constituency to kick her out. I said a couple of days ago, why on earth are you obsessing over this woman when no one on this forum is defending her and her leadership have disowned her. I've yet to see a satisfactory answer.

How anyone could be a Saints fan and actually support the abolition of the League Cup beggars belief. As a club we've won fuck all. I'd like to get to grave having seen us win something significant, just once (like many, born after 1976). Probably the same type of people that salivate over the scrapping of the Christmas schedule because of "player recovery" and because someone said we might win the world Cup if we did.

It is pretty impressive how pitifully thick one human van be. Clue: she's not part of the government.

Aintforever has not defended for a second. Try harder sweetheart.

The insand outs for 19/20 compared with 18/19 look pretty much comparable on TransferMarkt 19/20 In £15m Out £47m 18/19 In £19m Out £46m He took over in Nov 18, so the major sales of the 18/19 season happened in the summer of 2018 before he turned up. This also makes any comparison to seasons prior to this irrelevant. He was gone by December 2019 so subsequent seasons also irrelevant. Struggling to see huge evidence of "asset stripping". The forum finance/French football experts might need to help me out.

I think the only difference is that it was incredibly easy to burn hundreds of albums off of Napster/Pirate Bay and the other ones back in the day. In contrast, I've pretty much given up on streaming matches now because I've got a fed up of what seems to be a three or four month cycle of "ooh, this is working great" to "whats happened now" to then getting messages etc about "we're trying to fix it" and over complicated fixes from stroppy Latvian IT types. Occasionally I use the links on the match threads here but get sick of the pop ups and the requests to sign up etc etc. Obviously when matches were everywhere during lockdown it wasn't too much of a problem anyway. So I'm a sample of one but I'd say the football bods are doing a better job of fighting large scale piracy than the music industry did.

I like the upgrade. Nice one Steve.

So you think this Scottish MP should be given a 40 min prime time press conference on National TV to explain her actions and rationale behind her decision not to resign? Strange.

Nice article on The Athletic on the background to the transfer. He wasn't particularly on the radar until he became available. Says Theo said he wouldn't go anywhere else (ie West Ham etc) which of course put us in a strong position regarding negotiations. Lots of hope that his attitude/professionalism will be a wider benefit than just his contribution on the pitch, contrasting him with the less team-focused Boufal. The main piece of new information was that Ralph still believes in Elyounoussi, and if the Celtic weren't quite as keen to lock down a deal early summer, he may well have been back in our first team squad for this season and we would not have needed Theo. But that's okay right - after all everyone slagged off Moi so therefore he's going to prove everyone wrong and be brilliant because of Danny Ings or something. Welcome back Ely for 21-22.

We've had worse windows but overall this wasn't a great one. Good to get shot of a few earners. Walker-Peters a decent signing. The other two we'll see. If one of them turns out to be a Mane-style smash hit then great but remains to be seen. Walcott, seems a bit pointless to me. Let's see how he does. Maybe the kids might learn something. All in all the squad still feels wafer thin. We've been lucky with injuries in recent seasons so let's hope that continues.

If we pull off another Mane/Toby deadline day miracle i will upgrade my transfer window assessment rating from "travesty" up to "dumpster fire".

But a few folks are saying we could be bringing in as many as three.
