  1. Where do I hand myself in? I've also got a loft full of C90 cassettes which is a ticking time bomb of copyright infringement.
  2. Looking that way. I certainly agreed with the commentators that said he would hate the job and be incredibly bored in it. That certainly seems to have been borne out. He's spent pretty much every fifth day of his presendency in a golf club. Much like Boris, he is forever haunted by a ballot he didn't really want to win.
  3. This is like when they pay a visit to Lincolnshire's last remaining blacksmith on Countryfile. Masterful.
  4. Who remembers when the Fitbit came out? Crazy times. So many memories.
  5. There's a routine in there somewhere. Don't give up. 3/10.
  6. I wish we were Bournemouth.
  7. You'll have to remind me which scenario from our recent history you're basing this on, because I can't remember us selling a high-value player to a CL top six team in this way at any point in the last three seasons, and gawd knows we've sold a lot of players. If you've got an comparable example in mind let me know.
  8. Well it shouldn't. His time is up at SFC. Him having a good season at WBA doesn't mean he would have had a good season for us if he's stayed. No doubt the change itself will actually help him and give him a fresh start.
  9. You voted leave because you wanted to do exactly what politicians and big business didn't want you to do. Go you. Probably worth not cintinually pis sing and moaning about a situation you helped bring about.
  10. Well, it will stop one forum contributor pi ssing and moaning for about five minutes at least.
  11. Who cares as long as it's one in the eye for big business and management consultancies, am I right? It's just them what will suffer ha ha ha ha screw them ha ha ha.
  12. Pretty sure it's mainly the other way round. Why oh why why oh why why did we not sign him? We're getting left behind again left behind left behind I tells ya.
  13. He was a Christian you know. Like a massive Christian.
  14. Correct. Even last season if we had precisely the same points and finished in exactly the same position, but just conceded and scored 15 more goals each, this forum would have been in utter raving meltdown about clueless Les destroying our once great defense. No fu cker would be swooning over how entertaining it all was.
  15. I've watched it. He came across like a Hispanic John Gregory.
  16. Oh, you're so right. And they will build on that next season and the one after that. It must be brilliant to be an Everton fan knowing that they support the only club in Britain that have cracked the secret formula for building on success every single season. Everton fans will never have a disappointing season ever again. I wish we were Everton.
  17. Everton finished seventh last season which means they will never ever slip back ever again and are guaranteed to finish top seven every single season for the rest of my conscious life and probably longer. They have completely left us behind for ever.
  18. How much would you demand for him?
  19. Correct - even if he has a barnstorming season (ie 10 goals) then it will be the very fact that he moved that would be a key contributory factor - his useful time with us is over.
  20. WITH THE FIRST QUESTION BEING "ARE YOU A GUTLESS YES MAN WHO ONLY EVER SAYS YES AND IS GUTLESS AND A YES-MAN???"
  21. This is true. What probably doesn't change much is the person specification. But, like every club on earth, we assess the market and likely candidates at the point of need. I don't believe we have "tracked" any of our recent managerial recruits more than any other club. We are, however, better at working out what kind of manager we want and I assume we are pretty good at interviewing.
  22. If the Tories had offered up in the election what is on offer now then they'd have easily secured a decent majority. Democracy is magic.
  23. The next election will have a different narrative again. Corbyn won't be the underdog anymore, he will have to look like and act like a government in waiting. The very idea that he now looks like he might actually win changes the dynamic completely.
  24. So you only have a moral objection to corruption if it happens to a coach you don't like. If it happens to one you already like it's just a case of "and?" and it not being a point. Clear.
