  1. I was offered a huge pay rise to work on one of those really posh French sparkling wine brands but I turned it down because I was enjoying my role at R Whites so much.
  2. Except you hate Southampton Football Club far more than the BBC could ever do.
  3. The sense of excitement and anticipation emanating from the Alpine region is palpable. Unless we win of course, when he will post one comment and disappear.
  4. Disney bubble trolling. 2/10.
  5. None of that means we sold him cheap. If Mane was a Dortmund player, he'd either be a Champions League regular, scoring goals at a higher level meaning proven to be a better player than he could prove at SFC and at a richer club than us, and at a arguably at a bigger club than Liverpool already. Or he could have been a disappointing signing in the third year of his contract and available for less than we sold him for. Who knows.
  6. Klopp isn't saying we sold him cheap, and we didn't. Just whining saps on here say we sold him cheap. Even if he scores 55 goals this season it still doesn't mean we sold him cheap, we didn't.
  7. Dortmund are a bigger, richer and more prestigious club than Saints and the kind of club you can jump straight to Real/Barcelona from, so probably true.
  8. Probably a bit of both - if we had appointed, say, Puel instead then the Lallana/Lambert replacements would likely be from the French league or have some connection to him. Just like we have just happened to have started signing players from the French league now. If Les Reed suggests we would have signed Pelle and Tadic regardless of manager I say that is bullcr ap.
  9. I think you're hearing want you want to hear.
  10. You thought he was going to say it was a fantastic contract offer but wanted to leave anyway?
  11. In other words he said exactly what we already know and you'd expect him to say.
  12. He might be open about his own ambitions, Everton's place in the world, stuff about the 1994 WC qualifying campaign, Barcelona, his relationship with Jose, Van Gaal, Pep, the state of Dutch football, etc etc etc. Plenty to cover even if he doesn't mention us.
  13. I reckon some Nazi nut jobs voted remain too, right?
  14. I thought remoaners were gutless, lily livered snowflake generation pinko pussy wimps incapable of standing up for themselves so I'd be surprised if any one of us could even lift a Argos pen in anger, let alone a carving knife or piece of lead piping. All the weapons are definitely on the leave side.
  15. We will not be playing any of those front line players in any stage of this competition. We're not "keeping faith with the youngsters" in this cup, it's a competition for youngsters. Nuts. Absolutely nuts.
  16. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/11/14/donald-trump-theresa-may-nato-brexit-eu-leaders-live/amp/ Nigel taking it well.
  17. Where are these reports?
  18. FFS BUY DEFOE BUY DEFOE BUY DEFOE BUY DEFOE FFS FFS.
  19. By this time last season Mane had scored 3 league goals, actually his entire tally this side of Christmas. Redmond has also scored 3 league goals so doesn't actually have to bother scoring before New Years Day to match Mane exactly. In fact Mane didn't score again until March, so Nathan has got four months off. Pelle had scored a dazzling six by remembrance Sunday, more than Austin on his pathetic five league goals. Pelle scored the breathtaking tally of 11 league goals last season which is clearly the kind of superhuman goalscoring only Jermaine Defoe could replace.
  20. And you do know everything? Pelle was obviously leaving in the summer back in January, Austin was the replacement. It's pretty simple.
  21. Jeremy Wilson is better connected than you and he said that's exactly what the club did, and it was painfully obvious that Pelle was going in the summer back in January 2016. So the only myth maker here is, well, you.
  22. Boris and Pence have already had a phone conversation. I think the administration of the United States of America and the UK Government can cobble something together between them without needing Nigel Farage's help.
  23. Or, ninth in the queue.
  24. Because that would be the most tinpot thing this club could ever do. Let the kids keep having their kickabouts, it's nice experience for them and when they go out, they go out. If our kids make it to Wembley it would be highly amusing, especially compared to that shower down the road. But let's not get carried away.
  25. Indeed. There would have been a proportion of the electorate that voted against Hillary rather than for Trump. Clinton clearly was despised and mistrusted by huge numbers and has no real charisma but still secured the popular vote "victory" vs Trump. Take away the anti-establishment Hillary-hate out of the equation and replace with a half competent, engaging Democrat and it would have been a lot closer. But I don't mean Sanders who would have been smashed as a raging Commie despite being about as left-wing as Alan Milburn.
