1. Invest in players and salary to get promoted 2. Concede 60 goals minimum 3. If promotion happens then use club sources to disseminate / pretend that this was an accident and actually when you think about it really we didn't intend to go up at all and best if we go down ideally locked in before Jan 1st window opens. 4. Alternatively Fail to go up. 5. If 4. happens make further cut backs in player and business investment using the failure to get promoted as a business reality requiring cutting of cloth accordingly. Scraping play offs becomes the height of our ambition. The message is now that promotion was essential in 2024 and now we are in regression to preserve the business 6. In all scenarios sign Nathan Wood 7. In all scenarios concede 60 goals again. 8. Find a way to convince a retired glamour model to do one more job 9. Set up Sport Republic Adult Calendar division 10. Build a Costa thing in Corporate area 11. I don't know, a black version of a 90s away kit?

The king of the insurance bet. From what we could gather he never lost a penny at the bookies his entire life.

Honestly now I don't know what on earth you're talking about. Put the bottle down and get on with bringing in the sheaves or something.

I've said it is a shit plan. I'm a simple urban lad, I don't know country ways. Maybe you people have shit for Christmas dinner or something. On my planet shit is bad. It's a shit plan.

Next time you go on one of your Yoga Zen away days, can you hook me up please? I've always admired your measured calmness.

Try really hard and read it again. I dont want to spoonfeed you, it's embarrassing, but just have a think who that post is about. But, obviously, priorities. Don't let me keep you from sorting out the drainage in the lower field.
-
As I say, stick to the milking and read it again.
-
Well, all I can say is you get awfully tetchy when people take the piss out of their shit plan and your pompous pronouncements on it. If you want people to think you don't believe what they are doing is right my recommendation would be to stop coming over as a salivating fan-boy over Russell Martin and the entire club leadership.
-
Stick to the milking because you're incapable of reading an entire post.
-
We all know you're on a wind-up.
-
The difference is I think it is a shit plan.
-
The plan they have deployed on promotion seems 100% spend as little as possible, probably get relegated then be the richest club in the Championship. And go back up. It's a shit plan because even if it works the team that "goes back up" is no further along than this team. So we'd be favourites to go down again and the same happy clappers as now will give it the "what do you expect be realistic" routine. Brilliant.

Any 3 year 5 year or 10 year plans are rolling anyway. It's not some static thing. I've never been in a business that doesn't revisit those sorts of plans every year (10 year one maybe every couple of years but that's generally the stuff you want to pretend you want to do but hope the next guy does it not you).

Ariana Grande is a huge international pop star in her own right and one of the reasons she was cast is because she is box office and will generate "free" publicity like bring on the front page of the newspapers. The studio might frig it so they can both be nominated for an Oscar but her role is a lead role not a supporting one. Films can have more than one lead.
-
All joking aside, the idea that we could have missed out on signing Nathan Wood really doesn't bear thinking about.
-
But we're staying down for two entire seasons this time right? I've been led to believe that is, in fact, the masterplan? No surprise those players snapped our hands off for that irresistible offer of 92 guaranteed Championship games to have the chance to be selected for.

Someone's been on the Scrumpy.

Leicester have appointed three managers in the time we've had Martin and all three are better than he is.
-
People can talk about how wonderfully successful he'll be "in the right circumstances" while failing to admit that, for Russell Martin this is it. This is his favourable circumstances. He lucked out with a promotion ready squad and parachute resources last year and now he's getting found out. His next job will be back to the middle of the Championship where he will duly concede 60 goals yet again.
-
All this would be fine if Russell Martin wasn't fucking shit at Swansea as well.
-
But a straw poll of one club to prove your point is Ok but me using exactly the same club to make a different point isn't? Why is my "scenario" weird but your scenario is completely fine? Sheaf's point is 100% supported by the Luton example, but you don't like that so are ignoring it and going with the Sheffield United example because something something reasons definitely not weird but it suits your point. The fact is: If it is not relevent to the following season then we can sack Martin now with zero fear. It's not relevant for next season, it's fine. Agree, or no?
-
They're a good example of the benefits of sacking a failing Premier League manager in December, aren't they? Luton are a good example of going down and expecting the same manager to deliver the same magic the following season. Good example of that not being true as well? We are talking about just two clubs, so my analysis is as valid as what you have cherry picked, correct?
-
But you have already said that the period before Wilder is "irrelevant" when they replaced their manager in December '23. So if we replace our manager in Dec '24 then that "before" period for us becomes equally "irrelevant", right? We heal, we move on, we go forward. Why can't you let this manager go?

Making out you predicted a load of stuff 18 months ago and now have been proven right is gaslighting sweetheart x x

What has come true so far?
