Of all the things that won’t happen today, us signing a £30m striker from a Brazilian club on deadline day is the most won’t happen thing of the lot.

This was the point I was trying to make yesterday. Ramsdale is coming to us. If Arsenal fail to get Garcia the back up is not that Ramsdale doesn’t go. The back up is Arsenal get another keeper. Ramsdales announcement for us is not directly related to what Arsenal are doing.

He only signed for Lyon in January with a sell on clause to his previous club. 4 year contract so will not be cheap. Feels highly unlikely that we can resolve all of that on deadline day. On paper looks handy though.
