Worry not. I have been to loads of games this season, including cup, but missed W Brom and City at home, plus Spuds and Liverpool away. Think I am 10 wins from 10 so will balance things up!

Anyone else drinking at the Drayton pub? Time constraints mean that from 6.30 onwards I am not sure its worth going to the many better places by Finsbury Park or Kings Cross

Should not be too hard for Reed to do that; Wilshere already out for 3 months

Maya Yoshida wants a new deal at Saints

Brought him on for his pace. Gardos better suited to a big front man. Still think Gardos is 3rd choice personally but will use players for different situations. -
Whoop. Not holding my breath that will get more than £5m

Gardos was very good at Arsenal, dont recall a problem 2nd half at Swansea and was good at Stoke for most of the game. Yes he made two errors, one of which was a slip which nearly cost us, but didnt thanks to Fonte. Yoshi has made many errors in his previous games including a bad one which seems to be a trait on Sunday. Harsh for those to say Gardos "had a mare" at Stoke but think Yoshi did very well against City. Incidentally, Davis made an error by switching off at Stoke which led to their 1st goal, and lost the ball against City which again led to a goal. He is a great player but even he makes mistakes -

Ok but Gardos replaced him at half time at Swansea, with Toby missing. Since then, Gardos has played in two league cup matches ahead of him -

To be fair to Gardos, while he made 2 errors at Stoke, these were late on and he was good prior to that with their physical attack. He was also very good against Sanchez, Poldolski etc at Arsenal. Yoshi has made plenty of errors, including on Sunday. I agree that RK probably picked him at HT on Sunday for his better pace. But as I said, the fact that he has not featured in league or league cup since the new signings arrived says quite a lot -

Maybe if we no alternative ready as 4th choice, and its at the right cost. Prefer Gardos as 3rd choice and its possible RK might be thinking the same, given how Yoshi has not featured in the league cup. The woeful turning his back bit on Sunday will not help his cause sadly. -
Dont know who, but as to the why, because people buy them.
-
Think we will tear straight into them. When we get the first goal, their crowd will start to turn on them again. 2-0 us. Maybe

RK was asked about the reported links to Ings, as part of a wider question today about the January window. Unlike previous names, when he flat out says No, that is incorrect, he replied "I dont talk about individuals". RK went on to suggest that he is largely happy with the squad and implied that there may not be much business done, or at least that was my interpretation.

No. Predicting 2-0 Arsenal "This is the next test in a run of big games for Southampton after they were kept at arm's length by Manchester City, who beat them quite easily at St Mary's on Sunday. Saints have taken one point from the last two games and people are asking if their bubble has burst, but I don't think that is necessarily the case. It is just they came up against a very good side in City, and this game and the one against Manchester United on 8 December will probably give us a better idea of where Ronald Koeman's side will finish in the table. What happened against City could still affect Saints, though, and I will be very interested to see whether they play against Arsenal with the same freedom they did earlier in the season."

Strange how Morgan says he wants to play every 3 days (as part of his desire to play CL); perhaps he speaks only for himself of course
-
Booking two days before travel will always be expensive, needed to check weeks back
-
The former, plus opposition are working them out as said. The latter applies much more to posters on SWF
-
You forgot the Tat count; seriously good and up there with D Fox esq
-
Guess Lawro will be tipping us to win from now on though
-
What has this got to do with how woeful our crosses and corners have been in the last two games?
-
Injuries / illness / choice of Yoshi all played their part, but the standard of crossing and, worse, corners in the last two games has been very poor.
-
Toby in midfield?
-
Tactical choice of sub surely (not decision)

How old is the lad? Took mine when he was 6 to (much easier trip) Reading -

To be fair to them, unlike us, they dont need to rush to buy tickets. They will all get one easily and the match is 2.5 weeks away yet. Probably will get a decent walk up too but overall, their promotion push is more important -
Better still, how do we seriously get any new songs actually going? A few of us on here will lost among the throngs of fans at any game, many of whom only just about sing OWTS once or twice if they sing at all
