Right so we should be spending £50-£67m this summer as it is all quite affordable, and wages have no effect. I think you should get in touch with Gareth and Les asap as this would be a revelation. Cheers

An example of our up and down season all in one important match. Thrown away at the end, when Klinger was finally out, their number 6 and 7 still needed 55 off 33 balls. Did it easily.
-
Dropped Klinger first ball. Jeeez Edit: Klinger now on 70, 9 overs left. Going to be close

Great recovery from Smith and Jimmy mainly. At least a score we can defend but must get their danger men out as cheaply as Carbs went

CONFIRMED - Virgil Van Dijk joins on Five Year Deal

Not what he said. Means players entering one year left -
Fratton Park is the best super mega stadium

Suggestion or fact? Somehow doubt the latter

Sorry to be anal, but the profits will be stated after what they have had to pay to 3rd parties like the PL. So they are very comfortable. Note though that Operating Profit is not the same as Net Profit - there will be further overhead, interest, depreciation and tax costs to come off that £1.4bn figure

I have a good mate who has married a Kiwi, they live in London. Have a one year old now and she wants to move to NZ before the lad is 5. My mate's view: could he get a job? Yes of course, but need to be in one of the cities, which is not what she wants. Prospects / seniority of said job? Zero. Basically has to kiss goodbye to his career plan. Proximity to other mates of his? Ridiculous. Even Aus is a bloody long trip. Realistic chances of visits back to relatives in the UK? Very occasional, not even once a year, because of cost, never mind the minimum one week and ideally two needed. Glad I dont have to make the decision.

Luton is an experience for sure, but not something I would wish to repeat

Strange, most posters thought that Caulker had a decent game defensively and got forward to support the attack well too. Do you rate Martina or not, saying he has to play versus Norwich and then saying he smacks of cheapness?

Hello Nicola. Banning Journos worked well, so lets go again eh?
-
Going to be long couple of months before we start properly firing IMO. Until then, clean sheets at least I hope

You could see just how deeply unhappy Vic was at Newcastle. Check his reaction when Long equalised. Yes, ok, even players wanting to leave will celebrate a goal, but go see for yourself and decide

Does not appear to be on Sky. So i might be tempted

THREE posts on facebook by Sadio linking him to Utd. Keep quiet FFS

Will still be hungover from the Hants T20 win sorry

1) its the Star 2) only you could turn a story about us pursuing two decent CBs into a negative.

301. Second highest score of the day, including a six to finish. Thia is going to have to be some chase.

Wood starts off the bowling today, promptly delivers two wides from his first two balls.
-
Agree with the above, we will need to do much better than last year and in our present form, we should do. Dont forget Wood who was literally involved in everything at the QF when we bowled: took both wickets through his bowling and then a brilliant run out. Then was involved in the near-catch / facial smash incident which brought the sides off for bad light. After the way we batted we absolutely deserved to win, but it did not stop some sour grapes from Mitchell, the Worcs captain, who wondered to the BBC: "Maybe it was a tactical drop onto his nose by Woody?" Sadly my 16 year old, who lives in Herts with my ex wife, has given up this season, despite the heights we hit last. He has been a regular since about 8 and a seaon ticket holder since league one promotion. I think the long journeys, and the tail end of last season, coupled with the natural growing interest in other things at his age, namely girls, have done for him

Everton were very good yesterday; ok the back four did not have the toughest day and across the pitch we helped them but they were a lot better than "workaday".

Will be smashed and still in Birmingham personally. Happy to prioritise the cricket after today TBH
