  1. Nope, 2nd. Knob he may be, but Ossie v Man City
  2. Very true, but it was only a month or two back that those man utd "fans" were openly saying, when they were linked with a bid for AL, that he was not good enough for them, he was only average, they need a proper big name with experience of winning, etc etc
  3. yep, sorry my bad
  4. re Sheff Utd. Cloughie has been there all season and they have been truly dismal until the cup run started. Winning at Villa gave them a massive lift. Have a close mate who follows them home and away
  5. Since Sheff Utd decided to give it their all in the FA Cup, putting out full strength teams despite their perilous league position and busy schedule of games, they have done a lot more than progress in the cup: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26134166
  6. Lol
  7. Phew
  8. Osvaldo banished and SRL injured. Very different
  9. Yes, definitely, even more so after watching the low standard of the next round opponents. What a limp attitude to a major opportunity
  10. There are hotels in Croydon ?
  11. It must have been tiny then. Easily £100 per sq ft (quite possibly more, with the hike in rates) so at £3k per month, it was 360 sq ft. A modest office with room for a visitor is 150 sq ft. Add in two open desks, a printer, and somewhere to hang a coat and it would be full!
  12. I can have a pretty good estimate if Jeff or anyone else knows the address, or even better, the size
  13. Wow, as I am searching for a new office in London for my work, I am very familiar with the market rates. They have shot up in the past 6 months so if we had a break option / rent review due, I am not suprised we decided to exit the cash black hole that is Mayfair
  14. Manager title and salary tell you all need to know about how much a waste of role this will be. Head of paper towels would be better
  15. Sheff Utd still risked injuries, red cards, fatigue etc but probably judged they had a good opportunity both in the Cup and generally to give the club a big lift. Fresh legs are best I agree, but only if they belong to a highly competent player. Professional footballers should be able to play two games in a week?
  16. Sheff Utd are in deep deep trouble in L1 - woeful league form, way below expectations and all to play for - but really went for it yesterday and got another great result, which gives them a huge boost. Fair play to Nigel Clough
  17. Another one: we dont have to waste any more money, time, effort or emotion on cup games this season
  18. Ominously, we are clearly favourites: http://www.skybet.com/football/fa-cup/event/16192793
  19. Whoosh
  20. Daily Mail's stats are better than Man Utd this season. Even more shots but just as few on target
  21. That didnt get started, never mind last long
  22. Bothered
  23. We will have also players thinking of the WC though but not Puncheon obviously
  24. That needs a drum roll
