He is older than reported then. Was a very long time ago that Totton could be called a village!

Post Match Reaction: Sunderland 2-2 SAINTS
Bucks Saint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Chris Waddle and the commentator on 5 Live both said Shaw handled him brilliantly and that Johnson did not go past him until the 60th minute -
This, and the other reviews like IGN which question the performance of COD Ghosts on the PS4, just cant be right because its obviously miles better. Dont they realise that the PS4 has seventeen zillion pixels?

My son goes to school with son of the Burnley owner. i will get him to put a word in

NC was a top downhill skier I am told

I said it varies games to game. It depends on different developers making use of the capability, or not, as the case may be. Not every game does, or will. But OK, only your view counts and all the other views out there are "vague" and so should be ignored. I have not spent anything

In your opinion. You still cant see that there are many others which differ. I posted just two for you, here they are again. Extract from Trusted Reviews - Dec 13 : Xbox One vs PS4 –Graphics A key question for any head-to-head in the games world is - which has better graphics? It is a question that is, and will probably always be, very difficult to impossible to answer. As with the current Xbox 360 vs PS3 battle, which console has prettier graphics will vary from game-to-game, and generally the difference is not that great. It's all down to the way games are made. Or you could try: http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct...6tkSza7fcAaogQ

You remind me of the HD luddites who insisted they can't see any difference.. It's simple maths, Bucks Saint. Try, just a for a minute, reading the links I sent you. Or the many others out there. I have acknowledged there will be alternative views - why cant you? I have also said the PS4 advantage may become clearer as more developers make use of it. My issue was, and is with "the COD is miles better" point. Its not. Its very close
-
Oh dear. more insults. I can do the maths just fine. Which bit of Full HD TV did you not understand? You can fuss about number of pixels all you like but you are still missing the point. Its only relevant if a game makes use of them.
-
No need for the insults, particularly as you have failed to grasp an understanding of the reality. I will make it simple for you - I have a full HD TV but no one is broadcasting any programs in Full HD yet, so its irrelevant. But stop with this "miles better" nonsense, at least until you understand that number of pixels means sod all by itself

I have played COD on both - struggled to see any difference. They both look good and quite an improvement over the previous gen. Might be my eyes of course! But I really dont think any difference is material, which seems to be the conclusion shared by most testers / mags. That might change as more games come out and move developers take advantage of the PS4 capability
-
Dont believe it, cant see it, dont want it. But if true, at £7m, might just be a very astute deal

too late

I work in the City, in financial services, I know Mark Fry and he has not heard this. We are both very annoyed we have not been told
-
Yep this. Like last time. For all his undoubted quality, NC knows how to play the PR side very well. We have a track record of leaking and saying almost nothing at all over the last 4 years, apart from the rare occasion when we want to put something out there. Amazing how this has "leaked" out again, with nothing at all from the Liebherr side
-
"miles" better? Really? Reason? Have yet to read any views which say that. Most say its very close / depends which games you like best / the Xbox controller is still ahead etc etc

The Sun: Saints looking to sign Diego for 1.6m
Bucks Saint replied to Wiggles31's topic in The Saints
I am not getting too excited until Baz says its not a gamble we should not be taking -
The family enclosure should be fine. The biggest challenge is whether a 4 yr old will be happy to sit there for 120 mins - boredom / toilet breaks / etc etc are an issue for some, but you will know whether yours will be a problem!
-
All signings are a gamble but i did not know that we cant afford to make this one. Is our window budget limited to one signing?

Buying a young player with potential for future seasons, at a sensible price, is a gamble?
