Saints and Pomp*y hate each other, they as us sing anti songs, it is all part of the great rivaly that we have with each other. I think the main factors here are.... 1) It was our first game in the same league as them for 6 years. 2) It was on Sky 3) We were spanking Leeds all over the place and some of the nation were watching. 4) We are on a great run and have a great feel good factor. It will die down once we have beaten them again and normal service resumes. I love the rivaly and think it is a very important part of being a football fan!!

Yes we were pretty brilliant yesterday, but this is the confidence that comes in a new season after promotion, but will be interesting to see what happens after a sticky patch. We know we will not play like that all season. Mid table I would be happy with and push on for promotion next. Of course if we can keep it going I would only be to happy. I think this goes hand in hand with society being really peed off at the moment. Protests are more widely common under Tory government. Yes some of it has to do with the bloke that was shot by the police, but most will be society looking for a reason to show they are not happy with a lot of things at the moment.

We sung many other songs and it was cracking today, all round I could not complain about anything!! FANTASTIC DAY.......even the programme!! lol

At work I always throw positives in when managing my staff and always end with a positive if I am picking up on some negative points. So very true, I know many Saints fans that are not one here, and they ALL think that NC is a fantastic chairman and taking the club in the right direction. This forum is only a tiny percentage of the Southampton FC fan base, and there is no point getting wound up by those on here..... all very amusing though, and that is partly what the internet is for after all. I would not take much notice of many on here!
