Over 2 games I would have us down to beat any team in this league. -

They are very good at home against the top sides and we got a point. Division 3 is where we are at the moment and I am sure there are many other teams who are thinking the same. Charlton and Sheffield Wednesday to name two, but I want out of here just as much as every Saints fan, and I believe that staying positive gives us a better chance of reaching this goal. Cheers up matey! -

I will try anything to get out of this league!! Still think we will go up, not panicking yet, and staying positive. We have the games in hand to get us their and yes we need to win them, but over the remainder of the season we have enough in us to grab that second spot! -

They have beaten Charlton, Colchester, Oldham, Brighton and Peterborough at home Beaten, Huddersfield and Bournemouth away! This team are no mugs like they were last season, and lets not start comparing results to last season as it never works like that in football, and we will be back here on Saturday saying but we lost this game last season, I can tell you now we will not lose to Swindon! -

Good result, and other results went our way. Win on Saturday and next Tuesday and we will be in a very strong position. -
That is it Ricky Hill scored for them and Foster. We were robbed. The goal at their place was on the plastic pitch and for us to draw there was a big thing and there was only going to be one winner at our place!!! Whoops. The same can go for quite a few matches where we drew away only to screw it up at home Derby County FA Cup 3rd round 1-1 at their place lost 1-2 at home when Jerry Forrest scored for us!! Stockport 2-2 only to lose at home 1-2 after going 1 up really early on. Then talking of plastic pitches 2-2 at home to Oldham only to go to a replay which I did not even bother listening to... I think we lost 2/3 - 0. All these games were around 89-95. Seemed to happen every season the Luton and Derby County game I believe were the same season 88/89!

They have only lost one in their last 20 games.... they are on for the playoffs at this rate for sure.

Funny how I remember all the toy shops. I remember buying all my subbuteo gear from a shop in Portswood, I think it was opporsite the Mitre pub or just down from where Kwik save used to be near the corner of Highfield Road where the mirror place used to be now a kabab shop. Confused, you will be! It was a great toy shop though, but no idea what it was called!

Remember this one to, and the other one.

Yep, whenever I got the bus it was 'Triangle' or I used to say 'Bitterne Triangle' when I got on the bus. Never heard it called anything else and a mate of mine lives in Bitterne Park and calls it Bitterne Triangle to this very day.

Thats the one, a great cross on the run! I think it would have put us in the semi's. So much heartbreak around that time.

We lost 1-2 and Rod Wallace got one back very late in the day. Foster did get one and did Stein get the other one? I know all the goals came in injury time..... broke my 15 year old heart! Do remember the goal but cannot find it, have looked before.

I referee'd Royston Town Youth U15's v Royston Celtics U15's a couple of weeks ago and it was quite tasty!! Loads of parents and the players all went to school together but blimey it was 100 miles an hour.

Even though it has been a good week without us playing I am still a little bit worries about the set of fixtures coming up on Tuesday, and the fact that Hartlepool beat Charlton yesterday. I think that Brighton, Bournemouth, Huddersfield, Peterborough, and MK Dons will ALL win on Tuesday, thus meaning we really need to to win. IF we can also win and then on Saturday I think we will make up some ground on some at the top. I think Bouremouth will win, but Brighton have a tricky trip to MK.

less than the other teams around us, depending on the amount of draws though.

I really want to go to this one, but my country manager is over on Monday and Tuesday next week and wants meetings with all of us..... great timing the first time he has been over since August!!

What will Charlton do with their game in hand tonight

Win Saturday and Tuesday and I will get that false sense that we are unstoppable that I had in November!! Saints why do you do this to us, just KEEP WINNING!!! easy. -

I thought this when we hit 2nd this season, but we ****ed that up!! -
I had my season ticket in block 42 from 2001-2005, and I found it the best for atmosphere, and a laugh as you had the banter with the away fans. I still see this as a big thing of the whole matchday experience. But even though I have not been in the Northam since 2005 I still think you lose a lot of the match atmosphere when you do not have the close banter with away fans, but I still love watching Saints. I still love to sing at games and I have sat in the Chapel, Itchen and Kingsland, but the best atmosphere has been when I was in the kingsland corner. But when I was in the Northam end in those 5 seasons I loved it and loved matchday and as I say the banter and singing is still a big part of football for me!!

Do you think the Oldham fans are *****ing as much as we were on Saturday!!!

Without us even playing, what a fantastic night.... so far!!
