I don’t claim to know as I’ve never studied his teams that closely, but I’ve seen others on here claim GO’N plays a slower ‘keep ball’ game too - I do recall Wolves fans fuming at them being one down in the final minutes of a crucial match and them passing it around the bank (sounds familiar!). That said, *my* impression was that his teams played quite aggressive ‘front foot’ football. The main thing I like about him however is that he has “something about him” - and I get the distinct impression he’d have no problem getting the hair dryer out, which is something we desperately need. The main downside is the P*mpey link. Frankly, I couldn’t give a toss about it, and I honestly think people need to grow up a bit on this point, but it would be nice to have someone at the helm who had the backing of all fans…

Don’t dispute that at all - or if he had to pick a stronger affinity it would be us, but the point is people can bridge the great divide. Beresford & Horne two players who did it successfully. Others rather more mixed (Viafara, Quarshie etc.).
