As a flip side to the worst pubs ever topic how about one for the best pubs ever. Mine are: Wooden Bridge in Guildford The George in Crossharbour (London) Both because they are proper pubs, have proper people in (i.e no pretentious ****s), show the football, good selection of larger and decent price.

Would also be good to open these training session up to fans to spectate. Would maybe improve the bond between players and fans somewhat?

Im 23 now so was at Itchen some what 5ish years ago. Yeah remember the old college parties. Always had a single lesson last thing on a friday which i would always go absolutly steaming to. As **** as it was, it was a classic - loved it!!

To be fair on ething Lowe has always done very well is get very good money for players when sold. I think he will do his best to keep hold of the younger ones. I think Surman is most likely to go but i think he can fetch upwards to 3mill, which may be staggered over a period to improve overall cash flow. Lowe drives a hard bargain and at the end of the day only he and the directors actually know hom, much up the **** we are - it may not be as bad as some think (afterall we made a few million plus purchases during the summer!)

I would also agree although i spent many a happy friday afternoon down there during my Itchen College days. Its closed down now (which doesnt suprise me). Ive also been to some rough pubs in hedge end where i walked in to have a beer with my old man, girlfriend and the shooting team to have a pool ball thrown at me - bastards!!

true, but then how do u feel monday - or does the same rule aply until you spiral into a world of alchoholism where a beer is the only way to get you through the day. I think yes he is. Were being build into a model that can live within its means (although there is some way to go) and we are playing much better attacking football (which will hopefully continue to improve), using our youth players to our advantage and i think they are benefitting, and he is committed to a coach and a new set up.

Mine was very average - 6/10 (the extra point being because of the saints win)

To be honest I think that was a very good article, its honest (albeit very daming to the last regime) and gives the impression that we are doing are hhardest to begin to operate within our means. Be intersting to see how our finances look in six months/ a year when spme of these cost cutting have taken effect.

Ive been hangin all day today. The only thing ive ever had which has cured my hangovers was gatorade but alas it is not readily available in the UK. So whats other peoples tips, im out for beers tonight and dont wanna have two days of feeling rough!

Tonight - Got some work friends from Sweden coming over so drinks with them tonight Saturday - girlfriend coming up, may go out for a few drinks may just stay in Sunday - shopping, may go ice skating at one of the london outdoor ice rinks
