The club and Solak should only be interested in trying to acquire the empty land adjacent to the Chapel Stand, which I guess is owned by the Coal Pension Fund, like some of the SMS land, when it was being cleared to build. That alone would probably cost around £6-7m to buy these days I would hate to see more employment land lost to rows of flats. Expanding our stadium and increasing its immediate footprint, if possible, must be the first port of call. But unless Solak gets his wallet out, it's not going to happen because of the club's existing debt. A pocket of land was available opposite SMS a couple of years back and would have been great for club parking and more, but I don't think it sold, and the aggregate yard leased it.

There was a question about the media frenzy created by Boro, and lack of response. Parsons went on about the legal side of things, but really, if the club had the right PR people, they could have easily pushed back against some of Boro's activity without impacting anything from a legal perspective. For example, they could have highlighted the leaking of the photo of the spy and the illegal access to his personal information. It didn't happen because the club doesn't have someone clued up in that area, and Jordan Sibley just isn't up to the job.

i think Solak is fed up with the whole process of staff coming and going, but Parsons should resign, hes a dead man walking and must look a right div when the FL have their meetings.

We reap what we sow, and with over ten people fully aware of what was going on at Staplewood, nobody can complain about the actions being taken by the EFL or FA. The beleaguered Head of Media, Jordan Sibley, and Hoover salesman Phil Parsons are both totally out of their depth, as has been proven countless times—especially by the amateurish response to the EFL charges. Even this club statement stinks a bit of arrogance, saying, "Our focus remains on preparations for the Championship season." That's not something you should be saying in a statement about FA charges.

Whats the status of Charles ? I guess hes almost out the door if we are buying someone as we dont have that much cash flow around. Has charles been clocked on any of the pre season media ?

He will get some of my lost faith by purchasing the land behind the chapel stand that is available (burnt down warehouses) Its not just needed for any expansion, the loss of car spaces due to the fanzones has been a nitemare.
