  1. Chuckie egg
  2. Churches, 100%. I respect the value to some people of religious ministry and rites during hospital treatment and so on, but it should not come out of the taxpayer's pocket. There would be uproar among many if the NHS forked out £millions for resident Rabbis and Imams in every church, yet for many people receiving treatment, these are just as important as any Christian ideological presence. Maybe add an extra tax for christians or those from other religions requiring in hospital service... or, yes. The religious institution should pay.
  3. That's hardly an appropriate post for the main bored. If you're serious, you're a sick pervert. It's people like you who have sent the club this way, disgusting paedophiles who think nothing of culture. I expect you want to replace the paintings sold off to be replaced with paintings of your foul suggestion.
  4. Deppo, I think you're a liar. I was ill, indeed, but ended up getting roughly into the swing. no energy though, and very inconsistent. Some good touches and passes countered by some apalling ones
  5. If anyone will still read this, I'm a maybe. been ill from Friday, spent from 2pm then to about 3 hours ago in bed, but I might turn up.
  6. "Right" to be here. You're spot on ginge, I might go and stake a claim to some African land and say it is my right to be there as it's where I originate from. That way, us BRITS can go and have that land as well as our own! We could monopolise the entire world, just like the GOOD OLD DAYS. Also - I didn't realise that other countries are sending us their jail-bound, and I'd wager some good old ENGLISH money that some other pure Brits didn't either. This is an outrage. Swarming into our country like bees, quite right, ****ing blacks and yellows. Oo-er.
  7. For once, we agree, Stanley - I certainly think the Gurkhas should get better treatment, and as far as I'm concerned, anyone willing to die for this country should be damn well given first dibs to live here if anyone is.
  8. This is quite the exciting challenge. But I am too busy, alas, counting the number of molecules on my ceiling.
  9. Don't bloody well put any of me up! PM me though..? Heh
  10. No, it's a confidentiality issue. In all seriousness though Jill, i'd suggest asking people if they're comfortable with that first..
  11. Even with my lack of skill, one of those had to work one day... Anyway, I'm not sure it bettered your pele-esque mazy dribbly and cultured finish...
  12. I was **** for ages, my knee wasn't great but for some reason my ankle was bollocked. Got a bit better in the end, decent kickabout though considering I was hungover and had eaten 40 mins before.. Good numbers! Any good, AlDeMan?
  13. Right, I'm definitely there (not sure how the knee is but.. meh) as is a +1.
  14. I like Sparklehorse
  15. Oh, and I think I'll be a +1 as well.
  16. A) People are ****. B) A few saints shirts. that's about it, really.
  17. I'd say you should bring anyone who fancies a kickabout. We generally play on the astro but don't pay. Mike, if there's a reasonable number confirmed by 4pm or so tomorrow I'll be there. Not sure how the knee is but I'll give it a run out and see.
  18. It would be just as retarded as racist. And THAT is the problem. Why on earth would you consider that acceptable behaviour? It has nothing to to with this rather over-used loonie-left rubbish, it has to do with basic civility and respect for each other.
  19. POf course it was racist. The fact that it has some gernalised truth makes no difference, because the vast majority of men with white skin and blue eyes did not cause it. If he wants to criticise Western banking systems and practise, fine. - yet bringing matters of race into it implies it is because of the race. Clearly an absurd statement.
  20. C'st possible, depends on my knee which I ****ed on monday.
  21. I knew one was due, but had sort of lost track of it and literally happened upon i during a quick skim through HMV. Is it just me who finds it ****ing weird that all the music is downstairs now?
  22. The Decemberists - Hazards of Love And I love it already, having bought it about an hour ago. I found it unexpectedly, and then saw it had been released without fanfare today.
  23. That's what i thought.
  24. My list is a bit short as I've generally grown up on a PC diet. So.. BBC micro, then PC, then a shared PS2, now a shared XBOX360. That's all.
