KS, I think, given that someone has died, this isn't the place for banter or making claims that some could find inappropriate / offensive / unsupported. That's fair enough, surely? if you think it's true and relevent, you should contact the authorities. Otherwise, it isn't much more than idle rumour, to be honest. I'm not saying you're lying, I know nothing about it. I'm just saying that, given this was a real person, and one clearly held in high esteem by many members of the board, a bit of sensitivity could be... apt.

Thanks for that today laaaaaads, I thought it was a pretty decent game. Teams were a bit more sensibly matched than usual. Some good play, some **** play, as per usual... Our keeper was quality (bar that one eency weency catastrophic error!!).

I seriously think we should consider having 'captains' a la school. OK, it might not be great for people getting picked last, but would it not tend to make teams fairly balanced? Or would som pals brigades kick up a fuss? Dunno. you had some decent players today but we probably did shade it. Even unknowns can give a sort of estimation, maybe..?
