I live locally so I went along to it. We were second best but did not help ourselves with the insistence of playing out from goal kicks, the two centre backs looked so uncomfortable in possession, but that’s the “playbook” I guess 🙄 positives were Stepien-Iwumene (number 8 ) in midfield looks a player with good presence and Dibling showed good awareness and touches. That’s about it.

Hopefully they're willing to take Mara, Diallo, Perraud and any other ex-Ligue 1 donkeys on our books.

Heard Tim Vickery this morning talking about Alcaraz and the Argentinian chap Brighton have just signed. He said Alcaraz makes well timed late runs into the box, similar to how Lampard did. Also said he's a bit of a wild child! I'm sure Nathan's religiousness will calm him down.
